I can't tell you how much it warms my heart that we've got a real, physical werewolf in this movie.
It's so awesome to see him in these behind the scenes videos. Walking and growling and biting and scaring the shite out of people.

I couldn't help but picture Hugo Weaving doing a spit take in that one shot of him reading the paper. Does anyone else get a sense of feral nature in Anthony Hopkins' character? The reflective eyes as he backed away into darkness during the transformation clip was a nice touch. I'd buy a full length dvd of Rick Baker making up Benicio Del Toro as the wolfman. Very cool stuff.

I agree, Sir Tony seemed a leetle too enthused about his son being a werewolf . . . I'm willing to bet he's the other werewolf the Wolfman fights.

"Sorry Colonial, I meant to shoot you. I'm not the marksman I used to be, I must be getting old."
Is that supposed to be "Colonel"? I mean, it mightn't be, but I was just checking.
Aaaaaaaaaaaand I found someone to sneak me in to see it. BAM!

There's a difference between colonial(as in colonies) and colonal(pronounced kernal).

It's colonel.

Nice, they actually made it look painful under his clothing. On another note, why does Europe always get the good movie clips? They should also release a red band trailer of this stuff in the US.

Now thats what i am talking about, a real deal of a werewolf transformation its almost as good as the one from a werewolf in London i think it was...
I must say i am looking forward to watch this movie and Del Toro suits the job as the werwolf, and man Hopkins as well.
*sobs* I wanna watch the movie noooooooowww *sob sob*

likewise. Anyone know if they're giving any free goodies (posters for example) on opening night?

I think this might be the first time since The Dark Knight that everything from a movie that I've seen before it came out I've loved. Especially one that I've been actively following for a long time.

There's an Anthony Hopkins featurette with split second bits of new footage.

okay this might soudn dumb, but why is this movie rated R? (I might not see it b/c I just had the scariest nightmare about werewolves. It's in the miscellaneous werewolf topics)

Bloody horror violence and gore.
And I sincerely doubt, from evidence in your posts about this movie, that you're not seeing it because of a nightmare.

haha, nah I had changed my mind maybe a month ago when they did a wayyyy better trailer (and what looks like retakes of the film). We'll see I wanna see it, but I might need to take a break from horror. I've got til friday to decide. lol What's your picture of anyway? I've always wanted to ask that.
