Hmmm... most of these I have never heard of before.  Have you read all of these books?
Have you read: Blood and Chocolate?  What is it about?

Read every single one. Blood and Chocolate is a more of a young adult read with a female werewolf protangist coming to grips with her place in the world. Their making a movie of it. It was a good read. My favorite of my favorites are Wolf's Hour, Werewolve's Revenge and Woflsong. Three exceptionally werewolf books. The rest are good and enjoyable but those three are excellent. At least in my point of view.

Wolfen, try to check out the "book list" on the "Books" menu during the next full moon phase, maybe you'll find a few other books you may be interested in too.

Re: Werewolf Book Lists

I think my most favorite werewolf book of all time is "The Werewolf of Paris" by Guy Endore.  It is a classic about a werewolf named Bertrand Caillet during one of the French revolutions in the 19th Century.  I got really depressed after reading it, though.

Alexander Dumas also wrote a werewolf book named the "Wolf-Leader", but I have never been able to get my hands on a copy.  I just searched now, and there isn't a copy available that's less than $200!!  I don't think I want to read it that much!

I think Stephen King's "Cycle of the Werewolf" is pretty good.  I like it especially for the paintings inside.

Say, has there ever been a Werewolf Cafe Book Club?

Re: Werewolf Book Lists

Ooh, that's a cool idea smile
Cycle of the Werewolf is very cool with the illustrations. The Wolf-Leader book sounds cool, but daaang, that's a teeny bit steep!

The second book dealt with the leader of the pack's son not wanting to kill humnas. The final scene is him standing upto his dad in cool werewolf throw down. I lost the book so this only from memory. It was worth the read. Are the Howling 1-3 reasonably priced? I would love to pick them up.

Would love to read Shara(Read your preview chapter). Amazon was out of stock. Does your store have any left? Are you going to the mass market version anytime soon?

Basically, Marcia goes after Karyn for revenge, dragging Roy along for the ride.

I need to dig up a copy of the third one still.

Re: Werewolf Book Lists

Wolfen ... SHARA has been out of print for about a year now. Scrybe Press is way overdue on publishing a revised version. The book is contracted to Scrybe through July. If they don't publish it, then I'll have to shop it around again. I'm glad you liked the preview chapter, though. Oh, and no, I don't have any to sell. In fact, I only have one copy of the first edition, period, and I'm not parting with it.

Also, I got all three Brandner books in a lot of about 10 books on eBay a while back for a very reasonable price.

Re: Werewolf Book Lists

Word from the publisher today is that the book will be in-hand within nine days. We'll see. He also offered to do a hardcover limited to 50 signed and numbered copies. Trust me, when the book is released you'll hear about it!
