Re: "The Howling Part 1" movie forum:

Probably the second best werewolf movie out there, in my opinion. Love it! Great looking werewolves and cool story! Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!

"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun." -- "You'll shoot your eye out, kid!" -- "What's that star on the wall for?" -- "I've got a bad feeling about this." -- "I didn't get a 'harumph' outta that guy!" -- "You wanna talk to God? Let's go see him together. I've got nothing better to do."

Re: "The Howling Part 1" movie forum:

My comments:
Great screen play.  Great storyline.  Great suspense.  Eddie and Marsha Quist were great characters.  Poor Karen, she had it rough.  Great classic scene by Eddie Quist  picking the bullet out of his forehead.  Great build up to the church burning scene.  Shocking ending regarding Karen.  Surprise ending with Marsha.  I have this movie in my DVD collection.

The Howling was a great werewolf movie! I loved the shock ending. Marsha makes becoming a werewolf quite tempting. Unfortunately, the sequels are horrible and painful to watch.

Re: "The Howling Part 1" movie forum:

Okay, my comments on "The Howling": I really did love the movie itself and the characters surrounded within this werewolf film. Eddie's transformation sequence was one of my favorites within the film, as well as Marsha Quist seducing and biting Karen's hubby into a werewolf himself! Only one thought: WHY can't werewolves and humans get along?!? At least have most of them be good werewolves than bad ones! Oh well...I did like the second sequel, too. Partially because of that hottie Ursula Andress being the villian. Woof! big_smile The other ones just plain sucked...

LOL Werewolf pornography at it's best. I never get tired of seeing Magda (that was her name wasn't it?) rip her wrap off over and over and over to the strains of "Howl".

Actually, I really did like the Howl song. The movie's idea of Werewolf sex was just plain hilarious, though.

Re: "The Howling Part 1" movie forum:

NinjaWolf, I agree, I thought Eddie Quist's transformation scene was totally awesome, and I thought it was so cool (and I was so stoked) that Robert Picardo (who played Eddie Quist) did an autograph for the site.  When the site is open next, check out the Dee Wallace-Stone article and the Robert Picardo articles.  S2M also did a great movie review for it.

WVZ, the character you are thinking of is Marsha Quist.

NinjaWolf, I think the character you are thinking of was played by Sybil Daning (not Ursula Andress).  Sybil did an autograph for the site too, you would have to check the photo archives I think.

No, no. I wasn't talking about Marsha. I was talking about the Werewolf Queen in Howling II.

Re: "The Howling Part 1" movie forum:

WolfVanZandt, the werewolf queen in Howling II was called, Stirba. She was portayed by Sybil Danning. There was also another female werewolf in that movie, whose name I can't remember.

Which was a more interesting female werewolf, Stirba (blonde werewolf) in Howling II or Marsha (brunette werewolf) in Howling ? My nod is for Marsha.

Aye, Stirba. That's the one. Marsha as more interesting but Stirba was funnier.

Re: "The Howling Part 1" movie forum:

WolfVanZandt, Howling II was such a bad movie that you had to feel sorry for the actors. Striba's nudity was riduculous and funny to watch. Sadly, the Howling series got progressively worse after that flick.

It had to be either sad or funny; I just opted out for the more intertaining position.

Whoops! You're right! It was Sybil Danning. Still, she looked great in that film! big_smile
