News update forthcoming this Friday on Cornerstone #2 featuring Anubis: Guardian of the Tomb. Stay tuned guys!

Ok, finally some more news.
With a small bit of luck, we might get Cornerstone #2 out just before or after the start of August. Cadre is looking over the new stories for it this Friday and he'll be able to give a definitive release.
Some equally good news is Shawn Suface is willing to draw up the first cover of Anubis: Guardian of the Tomb, the title series! I plan to show off both Anubis and his archnemesis Set on it. Shawn will also do two additional covers for the title series as time allows. Shawn Surface has been quite busy, so finally hearing this much news from him was downright wonderous.
Although Anubis will still be in Cornerstone a while yet, I am trying to prepare as much as I can for his future issues outside of Cornerstone. Already I have 3 title-series scripts done and even have an overall plan for the first batch of issues. After I finish the origin saga within Cornerstone I may also do a team-up with another Cadre Corner member.
That's what's going on so far!

The hurricane in Florida, Fay, did shut things down briefly for Cadre's workplace but the book is literally in the final phase of organization. Basically the pages (art and credits) have to be organized and then submitted to the printers.
It'll be going to print either by the end of this week or the first week of September - on schedule as I hoped but like everyone else I am just as eager to see this book in my hands...or is that paws ...as well!
After this issue we plan to put together material for the next three issues and release them more regularly so not to keep our earnest fans waiting.

I live a few miles south and the storm was not that bad. I just hope he didn't get flooded though. We had a wicked amount of rain. But knowin' Cadre, he's fine, just busy as you know what.

Bad news is we're caught at last step. Waiting to hear back from Cadre otherwise it was just a matter of telling the printers to get our copies ready.
In meantime me & Stephie Stone are continuing work on the next issue's story, so we're trying to keep things rolling until we get more news from Cadre.
Wish I could give an exact date or even say by end of October, but can't alas.

Hello, Cybercat ! Any news on Anubis and Cornerstone # 2 ?
Offline
I have some news.
Cadre was able to give a word on. On the good news at least, Cornerstone #2 that myself and Cybercat put alot of hard work into will be printed as it was originally intended. There'll be three stories, including ours of course, and also an awesome cover showing off Anubis and his nemesis Set.
The only bad news is we don't have a set date yet, but since we were ready to print previously odds are we should be able to do it soon. I wish it could be available Halloween but unless I hear direct news I can't make any promises...yet.
As for Anubis' future, there is more potential. Currently the next Anubis story has just finished pencils and is moving onto grayscales and shortly after lettering with the help of Stephie Stone and Jennifer Eller, who have worked on both the #1 and #2 editions of Cornerstone. The next story, forming the finale of Anubis' origin saga, I am hoping to give you all a pleasant surprise with...
