Hey everyone,
I wanted to start a topic where folks could post if they are reading through the TV Guide and see a werewolf movie or TV show coming up. (Of course most of us probably already own most of the werewolf movies that show up on cable anyway...)
This coming weekend is going to be a big time for werewolf movies on the Sci-Fi channel:
On Saturday July 15th at 9am EST "The Howling" is going to be on!
On Saturday July 15th at 9pm EST "The Beast of Bray Road" is going to be on. I had never heard of this movie before so I am going to have to check it out. It got mixed reviews from Amazon. Warning, the guy who gives the movie one-star gives away the ending...idiot!
Finally, early Sunday July 16th morning at 1am EST "Dog Soldiers" is going to be on!
It is funny to note that "The Howling" is going up head-to-head against another werewolf movie on one of the premium channels. "Teen Wolf Too" is going to be on TMC at the same time. Gee, I wonder which one I'd rather watch...
Also I saw a commercial for "Primetime" on ABC (I believe). They are going to have a series of medical mysteries running on Wednesdays starting July 26th. One of the medical mysteries that popped up was "werewolf syndrome". That might be interesting. (Did anyone see the CSI where human werewolf syndrome was the theme?)
I hope some of you might find this thread useful.

Grigio, thank you for creating this forum topic.
Oh, and yes, there is a forum topic here about that CSI episode you mentioned.
On a side note, I bought a copy of that "Beast of Bray Road" movie on DVD (it came out on DVD pretty recently and there is a topic for it on the forums also).

Hey Busboy,
Thanks for pointing those other forum topics out. I've gotta do more diving through the older topics. I noticed a couple of cool topics I hadn't seen before as I was looking for the two you mentioned.

Cool, yeah, there is a lot on this site, and the main site (the part that is open for the full moon) has a lot of archived things too (although unfortunately the archives aren't grabbing everything, but I know that The Admin should have everything fixed in the next month or so).

Hey again,
On Monday, July 17th, "Underworld" will be on TBS at 11pm EST. I looked at the TBS website and I think that translates into 10pm Central, 9pm Mountain, and 11pm Pacific. It also replays at 3am early Tuesday morning.
Early morning on Saturday, July 22nd, "Howling: New Moon Rising" will be on Cinemax at 2am EST. I tried to look up the translation into other time zones on the Cinemax website, but it depends on if you get the "East" or "West" feed. The "West" feed would be at 2am Pacific time I believe.
There seems to be a lot of vampire movies on cable this week also...

You won't miss much if you miss New Moon Rising. You almost see the Werewolf once (well, you actually do for a second). It's much more about Country line dancing.
If Primeline is talking about Hypertricosis, it's just as well I don't see it. It rather ticks me off when they confuse us with hairy people, Furries, Bears (guy the other day said he thought that THerians were "buff hairy men" grrrrrrrrrr), and everybody else under the sun that sorta, maybe, kinda might have some tiiiiiiny analogicical or granolaish relationship to something hairy, beasty like ......... if you know what I mean.

He was being careful....what he meant was big, hairy, Gay men - Bears.

Saying "no" to drugs is a very bad idea in this sequel to the cult classic that finds Ginger's sister Brigitte shooting up with wolfsbane to stave off the effects of a werewolf attack. When she's thrown into rehab and denied the drug, all predictable hell breaks loose.

Hello again,
I'm glad some people liked the last list (how was "Undying Monster", ArcLight? I didn't get a chance to tape that.)
Here is the list for the week of October 29th (all times EST):
Bram Stoker's Dracula - SCIFI Monday, October 30th @ 2pm - Francis Ford Coppola's version. Not really a werewolf movie, but Dracula does shift into a werewolf-like creature at one point and a wolf at another.
Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman - AMC Saturday, November 4th @ 4am - one of the Lon Chaney Jr. Wolfman movies
House of Dracula - AMC Monday, October 30th @ 9:15am - another Lon Chaney Jr. Wolfman movie. This is one of the "Univeral Monsters" movies featuring Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Wolfman...the trio that inspired the Halloween update of Beast of Eden (sorry for the shameless plug ).
The Howling - SCIFI Monday, October 30th @ 3am
Wolf - HBO Friday, November 3rd @ 4:05am
The WolfMan - AMC Monday, October 30th @ 10:45 am & Saturday, November 4th @ 2:30am
Wolfen - AMC Saturday, November 4th @ midnight (so this is Friday Night/Saturday Morning)
Have a Happy Halloween everyone

Still haven't seen "Undying Monster." It's one thing to record stuff, it's a totally different thing for me to find time to watch it. Maybe next Saturday.
