Yup yup!! Watched it. Silly werewolf design - look! down on the ground! It's... a rabid vampire!!!
Offline
Eh...rather a well-done simple design (and yeah, it was simple) than an elaborate crap design.
Besides, the episode itself was pretty good.
Offline
The plot was good, but the werewolf was crap.It was a vampire that lacked the coolness and sauveness, and growled a lot.I cried at the end though!
Offline
Yeah, that was incredibly sad.

Yeah that Supernatural episode was very sad. It had me all worked up at the end, but just at the end. The rest of the story, and I won't pretend to have half way enjoyed it was rather lousy. I really didn't get into the whole "the only way to cure a werewolf is to kill it," plot line. It makes good tragedy, but the truth of the matter is, the girl, had she wanted to, could have learned to live with it. Come on Oz did in Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. Ethan Cord did in the tv series Werewolf. Since you NEVER saw this girl killing anyone either, it was hard to place her as the real killer, especially since there was another werewolf on the loose.
The ending was extremely emotion, but needless.

Plus its really screwing up Sam's chances for a better relationship-life-type-thing...
I mean, COME ON, give the guy a break! The yellow demon kills both his mother and his g/f in the first episode of the series, and other random stuff seems to happen to him now (I won't say any other facts without ruining the plot), but seriously, Sam's messed up as it is. Poor guy...and gal too.
Yeah, rabid vamps seem to fit the looks of "these" werewolves more. In a sense, they weren't really werewolves. They just took the full moon/eat hearts/ claws and fangs horror approach. For all anyone else could guess, if they didn't say straight out they were werewolves, you'd think they were freakin estranged vampires or demons possessing people.

*raises her hand and whispers* Actually, you did see her kill someone - the guy who was stalking her? Or rather, you saw her eating him

That is correct.

HUGE news everyone. Mark Wednesday June 6 on your calendar.
First of all, the big news is that Werewolf, the classic TV series from Fox, is FINALLY coming back on TV. Reruns will begin airing on the new Chiller cable channel. I don't know if any of you have it or not, but if you have DirecTV satellite, it's on that system.
Episodes will air every Wednesday from 8 to 9 PM ET and repeat again at 11PM to 12AM ET. They're launching the return with a six episode marathon from 6PM to 9PM ET. And if that isn't enough: Chiller is devoting the entire day to werewolves on June 6th, throwing in some movies, including the definitive werewolf flicks, "The Wolf Man" and "The Howling" and other TV shows as well.
Here's the complete schedule for the day, taken from the Chiller web site (All times ET):
12noon -- Monsters: "Werewolf of Hollywood"
12:30PM -- Movie: "The WolfMan"
2PM -- Movie: "Ginger Snaps 3: Ginger Snaps Back"
4PM -- Movie: "The Howling"
6PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "Nightwatch"
6:30PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"
7PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "The Black Ship"
7:30PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "Spectre of the Wolf"
8PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "The Wolf Who Thought He Was a Man"
8:30PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "Nothing Evil in These Woods"
9PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "Nightwatch"
9:30PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf"
10PM -- Werewolf 666 Marathon: "The Black Ship"

Make that three of us without it. I think it's time to buddy up to my neighbor and lend him my DVD-R for a day or two.

Thought the first eppy of Wolf Lake was pretty promising actually!

Watching this atm. I'm thinking it needs to be renamed 'Destination Sarcasm'. The guys attitude towards local customs and beliefs is appalling.
But! Very interesting, what with the dog thing running around and the kid disappearing.

It didn't even finish its first season. Never was given a chance actually as it kept getting bumped for specials which is the kiss of death to shows especiall new ones trying to gain an audience.
It was cancelled on *Halloween* and replaced with a Garth Brooks concert to add insult to injury. Damn shame, too as it was very interesting and I loved seeing the real wolves.

He is really sarcastic, lol. But I think Destination Truth is an interesting show
The lobizon half of the episode was crazy! Especially at the end when he has the whip tested for DNA (thinking the guy just beat a dog) and it turned out to be 100% human!
Offline
That was pretty cool. ALthough you never know if the guy just bled on it himself or not. Oh well, who really know with tv, but it gives hope to us believers out there anyway.
Offline
I watched that episode last night! It was pretty cool although I felt kinda bad for that little kid that they made sit in that chair...he looked kinda bored just sitting there! lol! But all the stuff they found out was pretty interesting.
Offline
He did look totally bored!!
As for the whip, could be it was used by someone to actually whip a human being.
Had a funny experience actually watching that show. Near the end, when they were still at the abandoned shack to look for the little guys, the head dude says something like...
the sky's getting lighter, and it's time to wrap up, glad to leave "because this place is really spooky"
and exactly when he finished the word spooky, all the lights and power died within our entire neighborhood. I was home alone, having just watched a bunch of Ghost Hunter episodes, then Destination Truth and earlier a special on the behind-the-scenes strange happenings of Poltergeist.
So being plunged into absolute darkness when some guy on TV says "this place is really spooky" was kinda... spooky.
