Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Thanks!

Actually, I have taken art courses, but only up until 8th grade. Most of the time I was the art teacher's favorite, which I just found irritating, doing well drew a bit more attention than I want. Then in middle school we had a mandatory art history class for some reason, while the computer class was optional (which made no sense to me, the art history class was boring and we had little chance of needing to know that stuff). Regular art class was an easy A, even if I was lazy about it, and it's just something I do...plus the art teacher was pushed into a permanent state of PMS after she had 2 kids...so I stopped taking it when I could take technology.

Now I can't even fit art in if I wanted to...the school's computer is, erm, touchy. It tried to put me in French IV when I was supposed to go into Spanish III.

It also put 2 full year classes on my report card that I never took. According to the computer, I got an A- in Italian and a B in Theatre Arts. The odd thing is that the school doesn't even have those classes.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Kinda busy lately...so I'm obviously not done. But, I might as well post what I've got.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Hey there, I love the new drawings, even though it's not done, it still looks great!

Question: have you ever given any thought of doing a series of sketches showing someone changing into a wolf?

In any event, keep up the good work man and I can't wait to see what you do next.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

thanks big_smile

I'm almost done...

Answer: yeah, I tried, it didn't work. For one, I don't know who's face to use (not mine) nor am I able to get the human face right if it's not an actual person....let alone something in-between. I need a bit of practice...and no I'm not drawing anyone here (sorry, I find that creepy for some uncontrollable reason)

I also need to finish my 750 page summer reading book hmm

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

yeah that's understandable.

I hope you get to do that one day, cause from what I've seen with your previous works, I'm sure you can pull something like that off.

thanks again big_smile

I might try that series of sketches...maybe even make an animated gif out of them. Don't expect much for quite a while though.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Those are cool drawings dude! I like that one werewolf, where his mouth is open. I like the detail you did, like how you can see his collarbone (I just think that's awesome for some reason). Really nice work! And you're 16? I'm 17 and I'm not nearly that good, lol. You got skills man! cool keep it up! big_smile

which one are you talking about? There's two where the mouth is open. On the first page I posted one along with a color version where it shows the whole body, and it's the one I used in my avatar (there was a url but no thumbnail for those, I just changed that). The second is the one I posted that has a background and only really shows the face and the shoulders.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Ack! I like the color one the most. You did a good job with the color and it makes a kick ass avatar! I saw the one of just the face and shoulders (I browsed through all the pics but I somehow missed the ones on the first page, even though I saw the dragon. Swear to god I'm senile or something, lol) You did great detail on the bodies though cool
