Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

I can definately see the difference. The first is very dark and sinister looking. The original is as well, but not quite as noticably.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

NEW STUFF!!!

finally.

This one is sorta a work in progress, but I'm done enough to post it. I may repost later once I've done more work.

Just an attempt to get myself out of my drawing funk lately....and a suggestion on the part of LoupGarouAngel.

Awesome job, Howlitzer. I love the whole anatomy of the picture. It must've been difficult to get their posture right, but nonetheless, I love it! As always, you never cease to amaze me with your drawing abilities. Bring on more art!

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Oh, wow, keep it up, love it so much! I wish I could draw just like that, I can only do that kind of detail with hands, and, well, hands are really meant for symbolic things, they don't always look as cool as what you can do.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

OMG I just realised, you kept the arms and legs the same length! Wow, you really thought this through. You're allowing for a humanoid pose, with the possibility of it being an animal pose. Well done, it's very well thought through.

I hope I don't come off as rude - again. I only mean well.
If you want to add a little something that you haven't noticed earlier, you can always go back to your previous post and edit it to add the extras.
Just put EDIT on it so people will know that you added something.
Thanks.
Haha! You're good without knowing it, Howlitzer! lol Of course, we all knew that, though big_smile

Nice action piece.  The details and proportions are great.

The Full Moon to humans is just a rock; The Full Moon to me is a symbol of freedom and release
A Howl to humans scare them; A Howl to me is a harmonious song...
And I Howl back.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Awesome artwork per usual!  Is there a story behind the creation of this piece?  Like is it two enemies fighting? or two friends fighting?  or an internal struggle?

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

It could be related to 'werewolf in the shadows' that Punxnotdead is writing up.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Nope, really no story. I just wanted to draw something, LoupGarouAngel suggested two werewolves fighting, I'd never done that before, and this is how it turned out. As simple as that big_smile

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

It is still cool, and it does resemble some part of the story I mentioned before, what a coincidence.
