Maybe use pictures of other people as references?

I need to do some procrastinated summer reading.
So you didn't read Gone With The Howl, For Whom The Bull Tolls, and Hairy Potter Werewolf ?

random question....
how come all of your pictures are bright, usually white in the background? I'm not complaining, I just see no overall dark colored pictures...
Well, since you asked.....

what, nobody sneaking up on him in the dark?
I wasn't complaining....
it was a "random question"
and as random questions go, they're usually on impulse, not well thought out, and have a relatively obvious answer....
for example, why do they sell solar powered flashlights?

no, I actually had to read a 750 page biography
About the guy who invented the accordion?

Well, you wanted an answer from me and you got it so be careful what to wish for, Bloodfang.
And for the solar powered flashlights, I guess they can be used in solar eclipses.

no, about John Adams....
I've been unable to finish it because I keep falling asleep on it.

Your werewolf body was cool looking though - that was pretty 'people-like'.
I've found this book to be a gem in learning how to draw people: Jack Hamm 'Drawing the Head & Figure'. It's not a new book, but he does so well at pointing out the little things you need to look for, and why they look a certain way - what underlining bone/muscle structure is causing it. It's great stuff!

I can't drink beer yet
and after this morning...I don't want to
all of the orange juice in our house, even the unopened jugs, went bad overnight...they turned gray and stinky...and it was a rather unpleasant surprise when I chugged directly out of the jug BEFORE noticing it ::gag::...::shudder::
this makes me wonder even more whose idea it was to let something putrefy for weeks/months on end, then drink the end product.....

on a side note, I'm about halfway done with the sketches...I also discovered why I can't get the first part to NOT look like my face. I look like the "generic" faces I was using as reference.
Must have something to do with how people from different parts of the world all seem to look the same to people from somewhere else. My family's from everywhere, so I guess I've got even more of that kind of face than I thought...
Oh well... I'll post what I've got soon.
If you say that the face looks familiar, I'll smack you.

That;s why you always pour the juice in a glass before drinking, my boy. That way, you would that it was bad before putting it in your mouth.
