Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

The cramps - muscles generally occur in antagonistic pairs. When one contracts, the opposite involutarily relaxes. The antagonnistic muscle is the one that does the opposite motion. If one muscle straightens (points) the foot, the antagonistic one bends the foot.

The next time you ve a cramp, try tightening the antagonistic muscle to the one that's cramping. A swimmer told me that one and it's always worked for me - now the craming muscle may immediately cramp up again but it will at least relax momentarily.

The first Howl we had on Cheaha was in November and it was cold enough that the dog's water bowl froze solid. About half of us packed into one tent. I started cramping (my foot) and I'd squirm around to loosen it up and growl and howl and everybody started laughing at me, which, of course, made me laugh, which set off more cramps, which made everybody laugh harder, which made me laugh harder....

I thought I was gonna die laughing and cramping.

BTW, ya'll do understand that everybody has cramps, spasms, and ticks - right?

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

When you stand up to get rid of a cramp - it's because it tightens the opposing muscle to the one that's cramping. It doesn't work that well for cramps in your hands though - you have to use other muscle groups.

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

Thanks for the advice WVZ,wish I had that info handy today when I got a hand cramp...
Going back to the phantom and astral shifts I had the oddest thing happen today,I was waking up and the thing were I can't move happened(i'm used to it by now). But this time was different because I got this severe pain in my teeth and face, which has never happened,so I got really scared and tried moving but had to fall back asleep and wake up to be able to move!Talk about scary...

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

I had an experience today too. I was at the gym, working out with the dumbells. Well I remember a pressure in my face. More closely to the nose. It felt very old and I get getting the feeling that someone would look at me and freak out...

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

That could be caused by the strain of lifting the dumbbells, it was probably the blood pressure changing around your nasal cavity.

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

One of these days I am setting up a video camera by my bed to see what happens when the not-moving thing happens,my parents don't believe me!I'm sure some of the time maybe it's a dream but I know when it's pretty dang real!
That's strange about the pressure BW,who knows, maybe you were having a random phantom shift?

well you never know... I question things too much (skeptic by nature, then at the same time not so much). But it happened to you, not me.

But I might as well mention this....I did have something happen to me today. Pretty much some kid was being a jerk for the entire first two periods at school. Bigtime... I put up with it, then he pushed it a little bit too far, I'm not going into the details. I could completely flatten this kid if I wanted to, (I outweigh him by 60 pounds and I'm skinnier than him...) but I'm not the violent type. I still kept my mouth shut, but I got really angry, a bit more than usual, which surprised me later when I thought about it. It's not so much that part, but it's that I also got a very peculiar feeling in my face, arms, and hands. All of my knuckles actually popped when I moved my hands after calming down a bit, and I didn't have my fists clenched, so I'm not sure what was going on there.

i don;t know bout the fingers poppin thing, but yeah, i was pushed a lil too far today. you see, i get really ticked off when people go in my den, or touch my stuff, or get too close to me without my permission, and this kid adrien jus outa nowhere took my calculator in math class, and i had to hold in some intense anger.

and erybody was like, "woah, pete is extra angry today" and i was like, "nah, i jus don't people touchin my stuff" and they were like, "oh, okay... whatever."

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

especially stupid people who are:

a) Convinced that they are smart.

b) Convinced that they're awesome.

c) Convinced that I'm not as smart as them.

d) Unable to resist doing stupid stuff and get away with it all the time...

Re: Who's got a bit of wolf in them?

I have gotten in one fight before, and I still hate the girl to this day. When someone throws a LITER of pop at you like 8 times,it's hard to control your anger. The best part is she thinks she is this great fighter even though she is really outta shape, she doesn't take care of horses...All the same my friends pulled us apart and I walked off to find my vision had blurred and my body was on fire, when I looked in the mirror my eyes were yellower then normal(they already have a hint)and I was sweating like crazy, much more then normal.
