Re: Anita Blake

Then you got the miniseries, First Blood.  There are indeed seven or eight issues before it, though one need not have read them to understand it.

Re: Anita Blake

who's richard (and first appearance)

Okay so everything's being pushed back again. First Death #2 comes out now on Halloween, so we'll see if it gets pushed back farther.

Re: Anita Blake

okay first Death #2 is out. it seems rushed to me, the last couple of pages should have been longer. but still good.

Re: Anita Blake

I need more of Annita Blake, both her books and the comic.  I think I had up to issue #3 or 4, when she was going to the creepy party to find out some clues among the dangerous groups.

Re: Anita Blake

cool.  It's definitely a helpful reference so you can better visualize characters and settings in the books.

Re: Anita Blake

yeah, but her mouth probably got it cancelled. I don't know. As far as the comic I liked 1-6 art and 7-12 (except for some covers) sucked as far as art adn I pretty much stopped getting them. The new artist is better though for the second book story. Hopefully with book 3 ( Circus off the Damned) in comic book format which will introduce the first werewolf!!!!!! We'll see soem cool art. <crossing fingers>

Re: Anita Blake

look at her interviews. Sometimes she just comes off smart alec and not in a good way. Maybe this is what's considered "dry humor"?

I don't know, I tried to be on her side but dag the way she comes off sheesh. Still hoping Showtime or Max or something will pick this up.

But she's gotta put money in so she can run her mouth on set. smile

Just my opinion.

Re: Anita Blake

Wowww, I"m late. I saw this on another website and they're ripping into her about her blog about her views on cancelling the show. Well at least the comics are doing well. She needs to be showcased more in magazines. I just bought her book "STrange Candy." Hope it's good the cover looks scary. Maybe the storyline will be like that movie "The Cell" or something. Anyone read this?

Re: Anita Blake

it's almost time for Circus of the Damned, the first intro to the werewolves (being shown in the story.) I was looking at the graphic novel version of the comics and the werewolves I think are sorta like Dog Soldiers. Human furry body with a wolf head. but I could be wrong there are so many were- somethings in this series. (were-panda, lion, swan, leopard, tiger, rat etc)

Re: Anita Blake

The top picture is Anita.  The main (biggest) furry in the bottom one is a werewolf.

Re: Anita Blake

I see sad. Cool body but a wolf head? hmmm

Well the last issue of Laughing Corpse I think is early next month so maybe March is when Circus of the damned comes out. <crossing fingers> If you have the sketch book from Brett Booth you see what Richard looks like and he has a werewolf forearm to hand.

Re: Anita Blake

Oh crap I can't find the link!!!! Does anyone have the Marvel Previews ? When does Circus of the Damned Come out? Laurell took her link down I think with the release dates for the comic. I wanna say Feb. 6th but that could have been Jan. 6th. Anyone

my scanner's broken otherwise I'd send you a pic of Richard, by Brett Booth. Basically he looks sorta like PHillip from Guilty Pleasures but I bet he'd have a deeper tan. He wasn't like how I'd envisioned him but... oh well, Laurell liked it.

Here's the book. It's worth the money!!! I wish Brett would come back and work on this series.

Anyway for comic Lunatic Cafe hasn't come out. They're on Circus of the Damned I think, but I'm not sure when that comes out b/c the website I saw the comic release dates on has been taken down. Dag, Marvel's taken Anita Blake down. (or the pages from Laurell's links.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lunatic_Cafe_(novel)
that's the original pictures. (I LOVE THE ORIGINAL COVER DESIGNS AND THE BIGGER PAPERBACK BOOK DESIGNS!)

Whoah here's Richard, werewolf leader. I think this is a promo or leftover from the Brett Booth days.

Re: Anita Blake

Is the smiling wolf letting Richard sit on them?  Because that's just a bit...I dunno...too submissive.
