I do have an update on what I got planned for Cornerstone, and this is not just about Anubis either! 
Since I noted how everyone had waited long enough, I decided to step in and simply write in a new story to include in either Cornerstone #2 or #3. The new story idea is entitled Guard Duty and focuses on a hard-lucked group of superheroes. While Anubis will eventually get his own independent series, Guard Duty I aim to continue for a while in the Cornerstone Book.
As for an artist, my most promising aspect for this impromptu project is Ray Catuto of Werecat-Studios.
Anubis: Guardian of the Tomb will continue into Cornerstone book #4, Guard Duty I was think to book #6 or perhaps #7. Thats what's going on right now, and hopefully my efforts will help bring #2 to print asap!

An unexpected twist just occured to my own surprise...
Another story has been submitted for Cornerstone #2...and it looks like it might get published before my second story is complete...which mean it'll go into Cornerstone #3 along with Anubis: Guardian of the Tomb #3 as well.
The next update I do here will speak of both Anubis and my new story project, which shall be dubbed 'Guard Duty'
Cadre should give us more details on this wonderful development shortly!

Update: We now are inserting four stories into this issue!!! Originally slated for only three, we now offer an additional short for your reading and viewing pleasure.
Also, in the works for next Halloween Release date... we are working on a Dark issue which will be an annual outing... Cornerstone: After Dark!
This title will have in it tales of the dark natures... scary tales, mysteries of the macabre, horror tales from the creative... so stay tuned there!
