O.k., I finally opened its own forum as the word is out that filming did start on November 29th, 2004. They should be done filming in March 2005 for this "Underworld" sequel.

SQUEE!
"Underworld 2: Evoultion"! Sounds like a revamped version of those crappy "Species" movies. :p Have you found any links or trailers to the new movie yet, Busboy?
Offline
Oh boy.
I hope its better than species! If this sequel isn't at least marginally better than the first, I am not going to be interested in any additional sequels, in theater or 'TV movies'. The original obviously set it up for a potential sequel no less so the idea of an 'Underworld 2' was not a complete suprise to me.

I know. I'm hoping the sequel will be better than the first, too, Red.

NinjaWolf, if I WERE you (get it? ha, ha) look for the trailers online after they finish filming in March.
Offline
Gotcha! I'll be waiting till March...in the shadows...

Well, they DID left the door open for a sequel with that ending so I kept wondering what would happen to that half-breed.
Please no wall and ceiling-climbing werewolves! We are not Spider-Man even with the long claws.
Offline
What? I thought that one was a cool stunt for werewolves to climb walls, ceilings, and buildings. True, they're not Spider-man, but it makes it so action-packed and a bit suspensful!
Offline
Personally, I'm not crazy about the ceiling climbing scenes at all, as it looks tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo phony.

The nation knows my position on wall climbing Werewolves and I will use all the force behind me in my political career to eradicate..... uh, what was I saying?

WVZ, you are way too funny!

Yeah, I couldn't believe that one scene from the first movie where a werewolf that was running on a wall just jumped from one wall to other by twisting his body around and start running on another wall without even touching the floor!

There seems to be a run of wall-climbing lycanthropes going around. They did it in Van Helsing, too.
Other weird werewolf powers:
A werewolf at an orgy in Howling II fired energy beams out of her clawed hands. In the third one, of course, some of them are marsupials. Howling definitely suffers from the Highlander "There can be only one" movie syndrome of sequels with cornball premises.
The werewolves in the game Werewolf: the Apocalypse can teleport--they do it by going through the "Umbra," a spirit realm.
Teen Wolf got me into this life in the first place, and I love the movie very much, but I can assure you that my spiritual therianthropy has done nothing to improve my skills at basketball. Werewolves in that movie are great athletes and are good at mock-surfing on top of moving vans.
So far, I haven't seen any flying werewolves. Teen Wolf does have one using mind control on a convenience store clerk. ("Give me...a keg...of beer...") No extraterrestrial werewolves have popped up yet, unless you count my own novel, where they're genetically engineered. As for ninja werewolves, they seem to frequent places like DeviantArt and, interestingly enough, this place.

Really, Scott? Have you seen any other blue-eyed glasses-wearing werewolves around?

OK ok ok....I get it now. I guess they overdid THAT part, I admit.

Ceiling-climbing werewolves were perhaps trained by ninajs...

That's EXACTLY what I was going to suggest!

Shoot, White Wolf Werewolves can do all sorts of weird things including smell horrifically bad. The can glow in the dark, start fires, poison things by touch, etc., etc.
Offline
Oh yeah, my favorite, they can fire their claws at things like bullets.

Oh, don't give the Underworld filmmakers any ideas, WolfVanZandt!

Yeah. The last thing we need is if they spit sulfuric acid and have Doc Ock tentacles.
