Just a reminder:
The movie "Underworld: Evolution" will be available on DVD on June 6th!

*bounce* I have a feeling I'm not going to like it much, but I am, nevertheless, really looking forward to it.

Are you going to rent it? I liked the movie, and I pre-ordered a copy of the DVD already.
Offline
Heh, no, I think that's going straight into the DVD collection. (I'm still trying to catch up on all the werewolf movies I've seen. I just ordered Bad Moon and Wolfen. Near Dark too, but... that's kinda the wrong species. )

This movie is now out on DVD!

I'll wait for an unrated/extended/director's cut/whatever edition.

Ah, I just saw it, the werewolves didn't look all that great, in my opinion.

I'm expecting to be disappointed werewolf-wise, but it should still be a fun ride.
Do they still run on the ceiling? ... Augh.. now I've got Lionel Richie in my head!! It's playing back that Dancing on the Ceiling video - aaauughh! *falls to the floor and twitches*
Offline
Nope, they stay on the ground now. From what I can remember anyway.

Well, that was worth a laugh I guess.
Boy I thought that movie sucked. It looked pretty good, very stylish, but what the flock was going on?!? It really bugs me when sequels uproot and change something that's been established previously, and do it so badly that you know they came up with it just for the sequel. The storyline made very little sense to me (why get a human to create the thing?? why change the perfectly reasonable and insidious 'errant feast by Victor' storyline in the first to something incomprehensible??) and some of the long standing decisions taken by the big guns (ie, the big daddy of them all)(hey didn't he have a bit part in the first movie?!?) were really ridiculous.
The werewolves were all pretty blah, except for William - he wasn't too bad looking, but reminded me very much of the Bad Moon werewolf.
I had a fit of the giggles when Marcus in bat form was stuck behind the castle wall - they kept cutting to him looking at it, slapping at it, and every time they did it got more and more funny.
Some things that I thought were cool however were Marcus' first appearances as the bat guy - that was very well done. Selene's super speedy zinging around, and the first few appearances at the end by William, before he started acting like a character in a platform video game.

That's cool you saw it today, yeah, William was a cool character.

Yeah, I heard that they did FOUR versions of the first one, so I'm probably holding off on buying this for a while...

You meant werewolves with a short snout?

Or one who was run over by a truck, which most of the others looked like Wiliam was indeed cool.
