Hey Ya'll! Okay, we'll be talking this weekend with the folks who will be getting our new site up. So, Hang in there! Also, we'll be meeting with  some of the animation folks about the cartoon stuff and Shawn and I will be showing the pages froma new book we're working on with a new publisher---"Eternal Night Studios". It's co-writing project I'm doing with an old friend and I'll also be the editor in chief, so ya'll better get ready to start prepping both story and art for us! Unlike some publishers, i feel that there is great talent out there and I don't make ya stand in lines to review it. I just send ya'll a link, and ya'll submit stuff there. Simple. and as those of you from the fan issue of Bubba know...I take this seriously and make  sure the best get published. End of that story...

We'll have a website to visit from them in the near future and it's dedicated to general horror genre stuff. Sweet! And yes, there is a new Bubba book coming out, but it's going to take till late spring to get it out there, due to commitments on both mine and Shawn's schedules. But I've never let ay'll down before and so keep the faith. Besides, anticipation is what makes it all sweeter. look at it this way, We tooka year to get the Sci fi special out to ya'll, but ya gotta admit, it was one of the best issues we ever tossed out there. So, good things take time. Now about that Taco Bell and the creative effects it causes....Hmmm, looks like the best way to geta comic book going is to head for the border! LOL!  Ya'll take care and we'll be posting about the Florida FX show and all the mayhem next week!

Hello pack brothers and sisters, just spent the weekend at the FX Extravaganza down here in BUBBA land otherwise known as Florida, Orlando to be precise.
   Myself, Mitch, and Lee "Batfan" Johnson were there to re-assure the faithful who stopped by that BUBBA will return in a brand new issue in 2007 to hopefully be followed by additional issues soon after.
   We were there also to unveil a new horror anthology series in the works called;"Tales From the Library of Darkness", it was more a sneak peek of things to come since I only just started doing the breakdowns for the project. We had a few pencilled pages on display for guests plus Mitch and Lee were on hand to explain and describe the concept to the curious. Also on hand we were joined by the beautiful model/actress Cathy St. George who served as the inspirational model for the hostess of the "Library of Darkness".
  For myself , well I was there to peddle my meager services as artist/illustrator in providing some custom convention sketches for those who found my work pleasing to the eye. Thanks to them and to all my fans and supporters I continue to live a life free of darkness and despair.

Well folks Mega-Con is just around the corner and I wonder if Bubba will make his usual impact this year as he does every year. Mitch you work very hard on your pride and joy and i give you props on that,me and Shawn will always be behind you 100 percent and i think you already know that...maybe in an upcoming issue we can sneak my son in there as a cameo

Is there going to be somebody in a Bubba Beauregarde Blanche suit this time?  'Cause that would be a great attention-getter.

Greetings Moonworshippers and all members of the "BUBBA NATION";
                Just wanted to let all interested pack members know that Mitch & I  will be at MegaCon 2007' this coming weekend down here in Orlando pitching all things BUBBA and some other special projects in the works. I will be on hand to dish out my meager talents to those who wish to have a custom made sketch of whatever character(s) they want, this of course includes the big furry redneck of Pig's Knuckle Bend Florida.
   I know that all cannot attend but the welcome mat is open to all those who do ,with a little luck, if we can get it past security, we'll have free "Ole Dixie" beer on hand along with BUBBA'S favorite brand of cracklins(pork rinds) "Captain Pork Rinds' authentic cajun flavored cracklins!
    Hope everybody had a great Valentine's day, you can get an idea of how mine went-I'm typing this entry at 4:30 in the am.
  Unfortunately for the moment the hideous misunderstood SWAMP THING is doomed to walk the Earth alone, forever trudging his way through the endless quagmire that is .....loneliness.
