I may actually be meeting him over my college spring break. I'm gonna be in his neck of the woods.

Can do, Cadre

He actually said he wanted to try to meet up and I already got him to sell me almost all the issues I don't own. Now if only I could find issue 1, I would own the complete series. Harf!

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

Harf... We all are Bubba fans at heart. But Bubba is in another place for now, and we hope to see him in the future. But we all know its not the near future. Hell I was in the middle of the whole thing. My brother Shawn Surface was an artist for several issues of the comic. And I have to tell you, it was one hell of an experience. I even had permission to start an online Bubba RPG game that was a success for about 8 months. I got people to buy the books and get really into the characters. So we all got into it big time. But now Mitch is doing other things and I wish him the best.

But I do hope Bubba does make a return.

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

Great guy. Hilarious. Just as crazy as he would seem to be, judging by his comics and Facebook presence.  And ultimately horrible with directions. I swear, if he was a werewolf, he would end up walking right into a pack of vampires and getting himself killed because he was going the wrong direction. He couldn't find the Taco Bell we were supposed to meet up at and missed me there and was running late for a meeting with a comic company , so do you know what he did? He called them, told them he was going to be running a bit late and they were going to have to wait for him, and met me at the condo I am staying at!  Hooked me up with the Bubba special effects appliance, as well as a copy of Bubba issue #1! Nicest and funniest guy I've ever met!

PS. He told me to tell Cadre he said hey

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

Not exactly. He's still working on the Bubba novel, but he has a lot on his plate right now. Look for him in a short film about werewolves he's acting in though! They are doing filming this week! Although he did say he wanted to revive the comix eventually.

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

Who forgot?  That Bubba poster you sold me at NYCC 2010 (or was it 2009?) still has pride of place on my refrigerator.  True fans know not what this "forgetting" thing is.  I'd get new beer for you, even though I don't drink it.  Tastes like ass to me.  Wanna split a bottle of Boone's Farm fuzzy navel wine?  It's redneck soda pop for grown ups!

Fuzz ball...you bring the wine and i'll bring the flintstone jelly glasses. BTW...Newcastle werewolf ale...go get some! It's awesome! Now for all you bubba fans...just hang in there. I'm working on a Bubba novel but I'm also going to bring him into my current novel series "Hitmen in Paradise" as akey charcter helping my two guys take care of a problem that Bubba is the only help they're gonna get.  Anyway, been far too long to be here and good to be home! So, what's up with everyone?

Is the problem a sudden over-abundance of beer?  A need to pull a nine pound catfish out the bottom of the pond?*
