Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Also, if you'ld like to post about "Touch of Evil," you can post about it here or in the community writng forum topic in the "non-werewolf related" forum or in new "non-werewolf related" forum topic just for "Touch of Evil" (hope that made sense).  Let me know if you need help on that one, but as I see it, you have 3 choices on how to handle that one.

P.S. Let me now if we need a forum topic for getting a bounty hunter for that spider too, ha, ha.

Brown recluse spiders are nasty critters! Although it sounded painful you are so lucky you went right away!! I read the first part of Captive Moon....I couldn't read the rest cause that would spoil my fun as I will probably sit and read it cover to cover like I did all your others....I'm a freak like that....just keep the soda coming and I'm good...big_smile My daughter now knows that when I am in book mode she checks to see if I have enough soda!! ROFLMAO!! big_smile

Good Grief, you two sure had trouble with spiders. I'm afraid to ask if you had run-in with killer bees.

But that would take us off the topic so better stay on the topic.

Cie and Cathy, and big plans for Halloween?  Hey, have either of you seen "Romancing the Stone?"  If so, what did you think of it?  Also, how many hours a day/week do you write?  Do you write mostly during the day or night?

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Saw Romancing the Stone a LONG time ago.  I laughed at the time.  I might need to re-rent it and watch now that I'm published.  LOL.  Since The Vampire Lestat Ball isn't happening I'm not sure that I'll do anything special for Halloween.

Cathy writes full time.  I squeeze in as many hours as I can every week between the full time job and the personal responsibilities.  My goal is to get to the point where I can write full-time.

Most of my writing takes place in the early mornings or the weekends, with the occasional evening when I can.  Usually, though, I'm too tired after a full day of work to feel very creative.  I am, however, a MEAN editor in the evenings -- particularly if I've had a rough day.  (LOL).

What does everybody else have planned for the upcoming holiday?

Things are up in the air for me still for the upcoming holiday, but I got invited to 4 Halloween parties, and I am carving a pumpkin and supposed to go to a dia de los muertos exhibit.

I dunno.  I haven't really made up my mind yet.  I'm ALLLLLLLMOST at the end of the current book, so I may write like a fiend all weekend and just CRASH on Monday.

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

No particular plans for me.  Probably curl up with a good scary movie and eat popcorn.  We're out in the boonies, so we don't get any trick-or-treaters.  I decorated last year, but don't know if I'm even going to bother this year.  I'm not feeling all that "halloween-y" this year.  Hmmm... I'll have to work on that this weekend!  It's normally one of my favorite times of year.  Maybe it's because it's been so blasted warm down here.  I haven't gotten those cold chills yet that says it's fall.

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Hi guys!  Did everybody have a happy HOWLiday?  Mine was good, but BUSY!  It was kind of cool, I'd been going to write like crazy and wound up with dozens of trick-or-treaters for the first time in YEARS.  It made me really happy!

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Cool, sounds like it was a fun Halloween for you, cool. On Halloween day, I had no trick-or-treaters, as I never get any where I live, but I went to the mall where people were trick-or-treating so that was cool, I had dinner there too.  I was invited to 4 Halloween parties, but made it to only two of them, they were fun.

Okay, Figarou (and anyone else interested!)

We've set up our next book signing for Saturday, December 10, 2005, from 11:00-2:00 at the Waldenbooks in the Rolling Oaks Mall in San Antonio, TX!

As an added incentive, we'll be doing a drawing for an autographed ARC of our March, 2006 release, TOUCH OF EVIL!  This is the first one in the new world, where werewolves aren't tied to the moon, and can be nice guys! big_smile

Awwwww....and I'm scheduled to work that day.  I could try and make it before going to work. I just hope I don't work late the night before so I can get up a little earlier.

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

We'll probably be there earlier, simply because we prefer not to rush and arrive breathing hard (I personally prefer to PLAN my breathing hard moments... <g>)  I think the mall opens at 10:00 so that's probably the earliest we CAN get there.  Will that work?

I work nights. The later, the better. 10am is way to early for me to be there. I normally wake up at 1pm. Sometimes at 2pm if I work late into the morning.

How long do you plan on staying there?

I might work late Friday night into Saturday morning the day of the signing. There is no telling what time I get off. I could try and be there by noon. Any earlier and I'll be losing sleep. I'm a truck driver and I don't want to be dosing off because of lack of sleep.

I have to be at work by 5pm. That mean I have to leave the mall by 4pm.

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Well, our signing is until 2:00, and it's about 3+ hours to get home.  We could probably stay until 3:00, but that's about it.  Otherwise the deer will be out and you know how freaked they are during hunting season.
