Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Hmm.  Let's see -- actually, there IS some really cool news!  Today, Cie is in Washington, D.C. being interviewed for a radio show called "Bill Thompson's Eye on Books".  He interviews a lot of really big authors (Tom Clancy, RL Stine, Laurell Hamilton, etc.) and Cie thought it would be fun to be on his show and contacted him.  He took a look at our books and offered her a slot!  Woo-hoo!  So, today at 2:00, she'll be at his studio doing the interview.  We don't know whether it's live or taped, but we'll let you know, and it will be on his website for months afterward to listen to!  If you want to listen to some of his other guests, here's the site:  http://www.eyeonbooks.com/craft.php

Regarding book stuff -- we're just starting negotiations with Tor for 2007 books.  We have all three 2006 releases complete (although I'm finishing edits on the December book, so the editor hasn't seen it yet.)  We'll have to see what they want, but we're certain there will be at least ONE Sazi book, and ONE of the new reality.  Any other books are still up in the air.

Moon's Web is still doing well on the shelves, but the really COOL news is that Hunter's Moon is doing just as well.  So, I have to presume that people picked up Moon's Web on the shelf and liked it enough to buy the first one.  That's WAY cool!  We're in the second edition of Hunter's Moon, but we don't know how many sales we have yet.  The first half of the year royalty statements should be here soon, so we'll know more.

Anyway, that's what we've got up to date!  Holiday plans are to spend a whole week with my husband!  big_smile  This is a big thing, because he's been out of town since May of this year, and I've only seen him once!  WOO-HOO!!  Then he's back to the job out of state until probably March of next year.  But the money's good, I can handle the goats and ranch (and I'm a better shot on the firing range than him, so I don't worry much about intruders... wink Heh.)

Happy Turkey Day, all you wolves!  Don't choke on the feathers!

Hi Guys!  I'm back.  I went out to Washington, DC for a couple of days to do a radio interview with Bill Thompson of "Eye on Books" and then did some sightseeing on the side.  It was a great trip, but I'm really glad to get back home too.

Yesterday was Cathy's birthday and today is, AHEM, MY birthday, and I am hereby declaring a virtual party.  You can have your choice of chocolate cake or carrot cake, so long as you DON'T count the candles.  smile

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

We had a TERRIFIC book signing in San Antonio yesterday!  Thanks much to Figarou for stopping by to say HI! right at the end.  We're in the final stages of contract negotiation for 2007 books, but a new Sazi tale (or shoudl that be "tail" LOL! ) is definitely on the table.   The question right now is whether there will be one or two <fingers crossed for two!> smile

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Hi Guys!  I'M BACK.  The interview finally went live and is now up on the website.  If anybody wants to hear me having a really good time talking about our books,  (I laughed so much!) the URL is:  http://www.eyeonbooks.com/ibp.php?ISBN=0765349140

Also, now that I'm not on quite so tight a deadline, I'm hoping to stop by more!  I've lurked a little, but things have been NUTS!

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Cie and Cathy have a book signing this Saturday March 25th, 2006 at a Waldenbooks in San Angelo, Texas at the Sunset Mall for their new book titled "Touch of Evil."  I wanted to let you know that I spoke with the manager of that store today, and he said that if you want autographed copies of the new book (or autographed copies of their previous two books titled "Hunter's Moon" and  "Moon's Web") that you can call him at 1-325-949-7040 to place an order for a signed book (his name is Damon).  If you want a personalized copy (with your name written it it), you'ld need to call him before the book signing that runs from noon to 4pm (mountain time) on Saturday (he will have autographed copies after the book signing event too).

Re: Authors C. T. Adams & Cathy Clamp

Anybody home?  I'm wondering if anybody has picked up "Touch of Evil" and what y'all think of Tom.  Cathy and I are very excited because the book made the USA Today Bestseller list.  (WHOOO HOO!!!!)

Personally, I've been so dratted busy that I haven't been able to do more than lurk a little bit around here BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS (drum roll) I am now writing full-time so I'm HOPING to get a chance to get reaquainted with everybody.

So, I say again, ANYBODY HOME?
