Hmm, ok whatevre, but it still seems wrong to me. I guess I'm biased though...sorry. I'm just a grumpy jerk who will do anything to burst the Twilighters' bubbles.

Grammar fail or not, I don't hold much of an opinion. We already know she pulled an epic character trait fail for the vampires.

No worries, Van.
I think alot of people are bias towards it mainly on the fact that it's so popular.
Personally, If I didn't hate romance, I think Twilight is an excellent piece of literature for romance. It's great at engrossing the reader, involving an attractive, immortal man falling in love with a 'common' woman. I'm sure most women, who can closely relate to Bella, would love to be in that situation.
Her take on Vampires is intersting, to say in the least. They defy what the 'predictable' vampire is by their absence of fangs, their humanity, glittering in the sun, and completely unstoppable to any human means. I like that she made it different in that respect, which is probably why I enjoyed the novels as I did. I find it very intersting to see how she writes about her vampires.
Anyways, enough of rambling.

I guess that depends on how you like your Vampire: the common Table Vampire or the Sparkling variant...
But it's what I thought the be one of the short comings of 'twilight', it's simply a ridiculous scene.
The nigh rape scene was completly uncalled for and pushed what would have been a High-Shool romance in Teenage-Bodice-Ripper territory, personally I would have dropped that scene from the book, too.
Unfortunately the other two books simply lack a comprehensible plot.
Eclipse had a little more of that again than New Moon did it and brought the story more or less to a close, not sure why she thought it to be a good idea to write Breaking Dawn on top.
The only thing that really grates on me is the whole imprinting idea, that's just not a trait you should give to a character that is supposed to be the good guy.

...Is Jacob supposed to be the good guy? Because from what I've read, it sounds like she's trying to destroy him complety.

If yoy want me to give some away, well, read the next segment:
He's in love with Bella and hates Vampires (Aka - Edward) and wants to see him dead because he thinks that vampires are only blood sucking 'parasites' - nothing more. So he tries to destroy Edward and get to Bella himself.

Well, everybody that wants to see Edward dead counts as a good guy somehow, no? :p
*Kinda Spoilerish!*
Seriously though, Bella does fall in love with Jacob, too, in a way.
And even after he he becomes a pushy, demanding sod that force-kisses her (Stephenie must have been very fond of reading Bodice Rippers) she still holds to him (though she doesn't love him the way she loves Edward and blah, blah). And yeah, in essence the whole Weregang is part of the good guys.
Things become really disturbing in Breaking Dawn when she sets up Jacob as child molester, because c'mon how else does she think this will work out?
I'm pretty sure that the only person besides Stephenie Meyer to think that end to Jacobs story to have been a good idea is Woody Allen, that pervert married his own daughter after all...

...There aren't even werewolves IN Twilight!!! You have to waste your life reading the first one and get lost halfway through New Moon to find them!!!
