So, I've been trying to break myself of having to always use some sort of model to make my drawings turn out right; so last week i started sketching heads using regular techniques and tried drawing more from memory. Here is some of my progress:
First the pencil sketch, you can see my reference lines:

Next the inking:

Lastly the coloring:

I'm quite pleased with it. Now to draw a body the same way.

That's Paw Bear of Chuck Jones' The Three Bears, Punx. The others are Maw Bear and Baby Bear.
