The gorram Syfy channel is going to remake an "Americanized" (read: shitty) Being Human. CRIPES!!!!! Why not just re-air the original series? Why must they destroy everything of beauty?

Say WHAAAAT?? O.O
Sure (imho), America can make the best effects, but their plots can be SOOO weak. I hope they don't screw it up completely.
Otherwise it's not even worth my time. And many times remakes can't beat the original.

The best character on the show by far is George because he's pulled in so many directions with conflict, has no control over his condition, and is more vulnerable than the others.  It makes the episodes where he's less featured feel more like filler.

Not to mention he makes an AWESOME werewolf! big_smile

Re: Being Human - British

Great news, I just read online that the second season will begin airing on BBC3 Sunday, January 10.

The BBC is even giving fans over there a free sneak peak of the first episode Jan. 7 at a London cinema. (Man, wish I could be there for that.)

Several behind the scenes videos and a prequel clip for series 2 that has an obvious Spike and Drusilla vibe.

Re: Being Human - British

I watched season 1 on-line (MUCH thanks to the link I found on this forum ;D), so does ANYONE know if the new episodes are posted somewhere?! O.O
My English friends are taunting me with having been able too see them 3:

"Man is not a beast. Compared to man, beast are angels. Do they kill their own for the sake of killing?
Do they worship Satan? Man wrecks, and ravages, and calls the devil. But unlike beasts, and unlike angels...

Re: Being Human - British

Ah, I won't post any spoilers here and upset those who haven't seen it yet tongue

By the way guys my advice to all you non-UK-ers is to try and find a way to crack using the BBC iPlayer outside the UK. I'm sure the more tech-savvy of you could do it. Then you could have unlimited British TV at your disposal including the new series of BH.

Well, I *don't* use TVShack.net. That would be illegal.

Re: Being Human - British

And I *certainly* wouldn't do that either! And I would *not* want to thank you for that information!

Well, you can wait 8 months to see the new series if you want to. I say that, I don't know if it's been posted on TVShack, but there are plenty of sites like them that don't charge.
