Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

The colour on the shirt was made by a 'plasma effect filter', Quint may know more about it. But It came up with a cool colouring thing, and I think it would make good dark skies in greyscale. if not, there is another effect I'm looking at that might do it.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

it's been two weeks since I've posted something in my art topic, I just did this about half an hour ago, and was quite pleased with the results, open to all criticism to make myself better.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

Thanks. It was all done on a touch pad, so it's not too bad considering that parameter.

Criticism? Mmmkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...   The fur doesn't seem to flow in the right direction in some places, like where the hair curls up slightly, the fur/hair eep going down.

Looks good to me even though the fur has a metal look.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

Because of tedious hours of catchup study, I feel greatly rewarded to pull up this!

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm126/WererStritchy/Werewolfindistress.jpg

How do you like it? I suck at more complex backgrounds, so that's all you're getting, and the tail is off, and I wouldn't mind if I could fix up the hands. But all is good using a 2B pencil, a pen, a ruler (Shock, I'm actually using a ruler!) and an eraser.  Comments and criticism welcomed and encouraged.

Well you don't want to do just art all the time. From experience draws inspiration! Yeah, I know cheesy but true.

Wow, that was a great picture. I myself have been experimenting with shorter muzzles but none have turned out as good as that.

Sure, just give me a moment to get the sketch again, I rubbed out the sketch lines, but since it's only one person, it should be no problem to redraw it. And I might get my drawing tablet soon!

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

I've got it anyway, didn't take long to make it, just took ages to actually scan it to my computer.

It's a bit light, sorry, I tried to make the lines darker.

Lopsided, sorry!
