Good job with the contouring, though it's a week bit difficult to see.

It's a bit light, sorry, I tried to make the lines darker.

Lopsided, sorry!

Interesting rough sketch, werer.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

I either need to change the sensitivity of brightness of the sketch, sketch with something darker, or get a drawing tablet, I might re-do a tutorial or something.

Hard to make out, but it looks pretty good so far.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

*sings* I got a tablet, I got a tablet! And BEW, I re did that drawing to something I liked much better. Everyone who's watching, what do you think of these two doing a compare and contrast? (I'm nowhere near as good as Howlitzer, and I'm still getting used to this tablet.)

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

I enjoy both works of art shown here.
And if I'm correct (please beat me with a spoon if not) the top is female and the bottom is male.
I think the male was done with better coloring. Just to compare and contrast you know.

Both are actually female, I still have to work on structure a bit more, the top one was a fix up of the bottom one.

Thanks, I can't wait till I do the textures properly.

I don't know why the bottom one looks more masculine. I guess now that I look at the hands it makes sense.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

it's supposed to have an androgynous look, meaning that it's undefinable whether it's female or male. It looks masculine, but the pose says otherwise, I liked this piece heaps.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

I have the same feeling as Vik, most likely because of the eyes.
The top one's are similar to how I myself draw female eyes, the bottom one's are similar to male eyes.
I pay attention to that kind of thing, as with my style of drawing, there's very few other things that can hint the gender (there's probably just the obvious...).

The question is mightier than the answer.
The difference between chaos and order is just in the point of view.

Re: The Artistic approach of Werer made public

Thanks, and now to top up on those parts, Yes, I am insane to want to keep doing these things, but here goes tongue

Proportion on women, this took about half an hour? Totally WIP!

http://wererstritchy.deviantart.com/art … -111102997

A drawing of two anthro animals, it's kinda dodgey, but I like it anyway. Still WIP!

http://wererstritchy.deviantart.com/art … -111099966

And finally, a 10 minute sketch, easy because the body parts are so big, and that little plant there... dunno what that is, I just drew it. tongue

http://wererstritchy.deviantart.com/art … -111101041

I'm seriously considering coming in the forums more often, I should have these on indivitual posts, it takes forever to load the last page, sorry to all those with slow connections, if you want to look at it in relative peace, it's at here!
