Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Bloodmoon expansion)

I loved being a werewolf in that game. It was awesome because not only were you the most badass badass in the game, but the graphics were sweet for the game's time, too. And as a werewolf, when you run, you pant, when you hit certain buttons, you howl and growl, and when you get hurt, you growl and whine. I love it. >w<

Best game ever. I just wish you could infect people and change at will.

Definitely! That would've been cool. Could've made your own pack.

Re: Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Bloodmoon expansion)

I love this game... Had it for a while now, I actually prefer it to Oblivion. Oblivion I was bored of because I had to watch so many other people play it over and over again, so it quickly became tedious. As for Morrowind, it's still my baby, I smuggle it up and play it on my own where nobody else can scream at me to "press Y!! You idot, Y!!"

-sighs- the trials and tribulations of a gamer, hey?

The graphics are great for the time, and some of the item things are pretty nifty as well. Except something called boots of blinding speed, which I seem to recall was rubbish. I ran into what looked like a giant jellyfish and it was bye bye lycan. neutral

Re: Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Bloodmoon expansion)

Stupid question time - I picked up the game of the year edition of Morrowind for the XBox (Yay backwards compatability!) and wondered if it lets you have multiple characters? I'd hate to create my own character and end up erasing the one my friend has started.

I think if you save it as a separate file it should be fine. Just be careful not to overwrite your friend's file and things should all run smoothly.

Also unless your friend is using your xbox there shouldn't be any saved data as the files are saved to the box's harddrive NOT to the disk as some other consoles do.

Ah, okay.

Still, it should be fine. I have the PC and xbox versions ans I've always had multiple characters. Just save it as a completely new file and it shouldn't cause a problem... I remember my little brother once saving over my friend's version of a game that had like 150 hours on it... friend wasn't too happy. xD But that's just because he was stupid and saved over the file.

If you're carfeful there shouldn't be any problem at all.

Re: Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Bloodmoon expansion)

I've got the PC version but I've had problems with the machine lately plus I just needed the space. Was able to get the Xbox version for around $12 so I figured what the heck, it'll work in the 360 and be easier to throw the disc in there than reinstall on the PC whenever I was ready to try again.

I just picked up a second hand version for like £3. It seemed worth the pocket change I dug out for it. xD

Re: Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Bloodmoon expansion)

I installed this baby onto my new vista laptop yesterday.

It's just as great as I'd remembered.

But my character nearly died when he was attacked by some sort of big fish thing. Damn fish. And the water shader didn't install correctly so the water is merely a shiny white mush.

Still love it *strokes game lovingly*

It's a really neat expansion, well worth it, and it should be very cheap by now.

You are most definitely missing out. It's a wonderful game.

Re: Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (Bloodmoon expansion)

Morrowind is awesome. If you can look past the absolutely horrible face and body models (get the Better Bods mod!!) and the totally bizarre armor models, it's freaking amazing. The world is one of the most unique I've ever seen, and extremely realistic in my mind. The sun looks like the real sun, the sound effects are great (though those bird things are a pain in the butt and make the most annoying sound). And you can explore EVERYTHING. I'll never forget walking off the beaten path, finding a little lake, diving in and finding not only pearls in some shells but a whole other underwater cave. Fantastic. Conversation can get a bit repetitive, but the main storyline is very engaging.

One word of warning - there's a specific part of the main storyline you won't be able to complete if you're a werewolf, unless you've completed the bloodmoon main quest and have the special item at the end.

And the werewolves look cool smile And they hit really hard, so it's tough taking the number of hits it's sometimes takes to become one. wink

Isn't that where you hurry and try to drop everything you're carrying before they nail you? Then pick it up later? Thought I read something like that in the *massive* Elder Scrolls wiki:
