Yeah, would be a close call. Even for a low-budget movie as 'twilight', given that 'new moon' will feature the (almost) were's I'd imagine it to take more time, money and effort than its predecessor (and hopefully getting it, too). So I would think a 2010 release to be more realistic, if takes longer though you'd probably don't need to bother with making it. That HP proved to be such a long running merchandise was pure luck, wouldn't count on 'twilight' holding out that long.

You're not wrong Punx... MTV had an interview with Catherine Hardwick, and they plan to start filming New Moon in March, and should have it completed by late 2009, for an early 2010 release. It is extremely important for Summit Films to get these films out as fast as possible, as your mostly "teenage" students won't stay teenagers for long. While this won't be a huge problem for the werewolves as they are suppose to generally age really fast in the books, the vampires need to try as much as possible to stay exactly the same.

Twilight 2 (New Moon) first off is that how they're going to call it or are they going to brand it the sequel to Twilight, New Moon.


Anyway so new director and i hear they're releasing it for November 2009 how the HECK  are they going to make that good in less than a year? I mean the special effects in the first one weren't that great. And part two is the one that really shows WEREWOLVES

Also theyr'e trying to get rid of the current "Jacob" for a bulkier one. I don't think that's important unless they're trying to do a werewolf version like Skinwalkers. I hope not, sheesh...Besides I'd rather them have an ethnic guy instead of putting tanning paint on a white guy (no offense white guys) but I liked that the focus in Twilight was to include more diversity (black vampire is another instance) so I wanna keep Taylor (Jacob) Lautner. he just needs to bulk up. but i just don't feel that's totally necessary if at all b/c werewolves transform so they're bigger taller etc.

but i haven't read the sequel so i don't know what really happens. I do know they are supposed to be biiiiiiggggg versions of wolves so i guess
