Book titled "The Wolfman" by Nicholas Pekearo...

I ran across a new werewolf book in a book store last night, it was written by Nicholas Pekearo and is titled "The Wolfman."  It came out on May 13th (2008), and I was shocked to find out that the author had passed away last year. The author was killed in the line of duty as an auxiliary police officer in NYC.
Here's a link to the book at amazon.com, it sounds interesting:

Saw this at the store, though I haven't bought or read it.  After the unexpected passing of Ronda Thompson, I hope were not seeing a trend!

I read the book The Wolfman by Nicholas Pekearo and I can very easily tell you that it is an awesome book. It is sad that this would turn out to be his only novel because you can easily see a great new talent when you read it.

Yep, pick it up if you see it. It's extremely good.

I bought the book some time back and didn't even realize the author was dead till I finished reading it sad I am not one to normally read the back or inner pages, if I know it is a werewolf book I just read. I was deeply saddened to discover what happened to the author sad it was a wicked read

break free from the abyss and move silently among us."

Eddie where'd you get your picture from? That's a cool werewolf. Is it from a movie? Or book cover or art?

I'll have to check this book out.
