I love the second picture, with the woman in bondage.  I can see you are working on your perspective with the human form.  That's something I have never been able to get right.  Keep up the good work!

Something I did for a student art festival. It is called Rituals. 'Tis a mixed media of collage and acrylic paint. The background are all pictures from various rituals by various cultures. The candle represents the rituals as a whole (being a ritual tool used in several cultures and beliefs.) The fact that it is falling into a black hole is supposed to represent that we today as a world and people are loosing site of the rituals which used to mean so much and be such a big part of who we all were. But the fact that it is still lit is suppose to show hope of reviving what is being lost. I dunno. I just know I'm very strong in my beliefs (which most consider to be the Old Ways) and it pains me to see that so many are forgetting where they came from and who they were. Mostly inspired by a close friend of mine who was my spiritual awakening telling me that she didn't know where her faith was anymore nor did she know what she believes at this point. It made me sad because when I met her she was so strong in everything.



Called Music Heals. It's one of the tattoos I designed. This one is for my left side. I do have a better version done of it now (same one, I've just worked on it more), I just don't have it scanned. The little thing up in the corner was just a doodle. This has been worked on in my Government class (it sits stored in the clear sleeve in the front of the binder.) The staff working it's way around the heart shows it mending it. The feathers falling are going to be an incorporation of wings I want on my back and the leaves/vine is the incorporation of one that is going to be on my left hip bone. I plan to have all of my tattoos joined in one circle around my body to represent how all things are connected. So each one will have something in it fromt the ones next to it.



This was a figure study I did of a friend of mine. It looked better before I coloured it.



My current work in progress. I will give the story behind it once I have a finished picture up. It is to be painted with acrylic paints.

A simple acrylic painting I did for Halloween. Was just something that I was bored, had my supplies right there, and a few hours to kill.



Picture I took of my adorable Golden Retriever Puppy. She's too cute for her own damned good and it's the only reason she's alive right now. My mate tells me she takes after her owner. *growls*



Another figure study I did of a friend, but I added it to have a bit more meaning. Just a sketch in actuality, but with the look she had on her face, it just made me think of a witch at the witch trials, watching a fellow with burn. And sometimes, that's how we feel (she and I are both witches.) Very often (at least where I live), it's as if the witch trials never ended and we are watching our community dwindle because of it. *sighs*



Just something I drew up when we were told in my Government class to create a cartoon drawing to represent Dictatorship. She made the comment that, although it doesn't exactly explain what dictatorship is, it was funny, and it involved a dictator, so she accepted it for full credit. Yes, Hitler was grumpy because his taxes were bad.


And that's all folks. I've got more that's in progress, but I'll wait to show you.

I dunno. I just don't particularly care for it. I loved it in the begining and then I got paint on it and didn't like it anymore. One of these days I may go back and work on it more to make it so that I like it.

And thanks. The bottom one had a TON of time spent on that. that's probably 3 weeks worth of work right there.
