Re: Secrets of being a werewolf...first hand

its just you know what happened to me from 12-15, i almost went completely wild... while it may not be the same scenario for her as she doesnt have the blood i do she has the blood regardless as it is in you and all offspring from you.. i suspect its a nagging thing in her by now...i doubt she even understands what "it" is... i still think she wont think your nuts if you told her about "it"  but I am not going to pry at that.. no way and thats because im different in so many ways that i cant begin to understand what its like for one to be clinging to such trivial human emotions and the lifestyle itself, basically because i never had that chance, ive only known living openly with the wolf in me...stopping short of telling everyone the reasons for my behavior...

Re: Secrets of being a werewolf...first hand

my daughter and I are close....so far she tells me everything...of course she could never hide anything from me because I can "feel" when something is bothering her. She knows that I am wiccan....I offered her the chance that I wasn't given....to chose what she believes in...be it wiccan, muslim, christian, judiasm...whatever...i will support her in any choice she makes....as far as her beast...I don't sense it yet...i'm thinking I would..

Re: Secrets of being a werewolf...first hand

Hey, WVZ, you have led quite a life, in your "short" bio you have left. smile Do you know of any were's (aside from JamieD, who, by the way, where in MD are you, JamieD? I'm in St. Mary's county) in Maryland? And would it be possible to at least try to arrange a bit of a meet?  E-mail me, would you kindly?

I don't personally know of any other Weres in Maryland but you might try the Werelist.

Re: Secrets of being a werewolf...first hand

My uncle was a shifter,  he tried to explain it all to me in the brief time he was alive.  He died when I was 15.  I remembered and studied for myself when I finally excepted the fact I am NOT fully HUMAN.
I might add.   I DANCE BECAUSE I AM DIFFERENT!

Re: Secrets of being a werewolf...first hand

I kno that i'm were as i have been shifting since i was five. Me and my sister leaned together. We are both seventh generation. I tend to get out of control when i shift and its not so much the smell thing as the hearing.
Dreamshifting was always a problem for her tho..

Re: Secrets of being a werewolf...first hand

Interesting, more than half the traits WVZ posted fits me like a glove.  My hot immune system does annoy me when it happens randomly, strangely enough in the evening.

A pretty accurate report on therianthropy/wereism.

No.  Stop.
Van Zandt makes a lot of weird studies about the genetics and physical traits of weres and all that, and those have results more or less, but that doesn't make them any sort of "Therian Checklist".  Therianthropy is not about physical traits, it's about mental, emotional, and spiritual ones.
