Re: Full Moon Rising

Awesome. Will it be one of those epic-fail ones, in my opinion, that have a poor script and almost-no special effects...or will the movie have an awesome script and stellar special effects?

Good luck on the development, though.

Re: Full Moon Rising

SolitaryHowl,

The Good News is we are a independent film company so we pretty much have free reign on all aspects of the film we are doing a lot of research into different werewolf lore and  examining what has worked and what has not worked in werewolf films of the past. One of the idea's we are going to incorporate is the use of Mercury " Quicksilver" filled bullets instead of the traditional silver bullets that other films have used as we feel it's more historically accurate to the werewolf legends. More info to come!!

Re: Full Moon Rising

Awesome, that sounds really great. Keep us posted, eh?

Also, in my opinion, I think that quadruped werewolves are way cooler and more 'realistic' than the more familiar bipedal ones.

If you need any help on ideas, I can help with that, and maybe I could help with script ideas too?

Re: Full Moon Rising

We are tossing around ideas for both haven't made a firm choice on which to use, I personally would like to use both and kinda merge a explanation about both types.

Re: Full Moon Rising

how about this as a first " A onscreen change from a Biped into a Quad". Realistically speaking a werewolf is a shape shifter so he/she should be able to change at will from human/Bi/or Quad so the way it will be explained is it's the werewolf's choice which form he/she wish's to use.

I like that idea, but how would that be portrayed on film? Would the werewolf transform into a biped, or would it just stand on its hind legs like the werewolves do in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans?

I like the ideas for the film so far, though. The quicksilver filled bullets and the idea that the werewolf can pick if he can be a biped, a quad, or a human.

Also, another question, and sorry if it seems like I'm prying for information...in truth, Im just curious...but will the werewolves' transformations rely on the moon phases or will they be independent of each other?

Re: Full Moon Rising

Solitaryhowl: we are going with change at will for the werewolves, it seems that from what we researched it was  early hollywood that gave popularity to the moon cycle only transformations.

King2wolves: we are discussing a few options for the werewolves from the movies we've screened in my opinion i don't care much for the cgi transformations but i do like the cgi wolves so maybe a hybrid type deal we are trying to make this movie as authentic as possible.

Re: Full Moon Rising

One more thing... I would LOVE to have a role in the film... if at all possible... big_smile

mainly, cast call info would be a supreme plus! big_smile But hey, I know its early, but just keeping that thought out there for you. I would rather not give any of my personal information out unless I know what you need. What's the basic storyline? and Is there a specific legend you want to follow?
