i started collecting this graphic novel series after i finished collecting The Exterminators, one of the lead characters is Bigby

Yep, it's Bigby Wolf who works as a detective in human-form and has a secret crush on Snow White. They and the other fables are all forced to live in the human world after they were driven out of their homelands.
