I was bored with nothing to do so I wrote this poem.

Caged

We scream and wail,
For our lives to be free.
But we shall fail,
For we are caged.
In a broken world,
Where monsters and demons roam,
Taking the lives of the loved.
Page after page,
We see horror and loss.

Our lives shall be forever doomed,
We shall be forever caged.
We can only hope,
For the day we finally see the glistening sun,
And the night we see the shining moon.
