Do you every find yourself heavily influenced by the new moon verses the whole moon?
I've noticed that my mate has much more energy when the moon is waxing.
Any thoughts?

I know that different lighting settings at night could affect sleep patters which could lead to darker skies bringing better sleep, especially in more rural areas, in the city probably nothing would happen as it is already brightly lit all the time. Also there could be gravitational affects, but no studies have been done on how gravity affects mentality, if in fact it does affect it. Well I as always, I hope I made a lick of sense.

I don't necessarily mean sleep patterns...
It could be finishing projects or getting everyday stuff done. I see what you're saying though.

Maybe a bit more on it. When someone gets a better nights sleep they are more active and productive during the day, so it could be that as it is a new moon, there is a darker night so more sleep is had, which then leads to more productivity and such.

Aha, I'm saying the opposite happens. If the new moon is out it's almost impossible to sleep.

Oh, Ok. I gotcha. Well I have no idea then.....

I like the full moon only, I personally don't care for any of the other phases of the moon.

I always have more energy near the full moon, both before and after, but I'm always dead tired. (If that makes sense)
I need sleep, but at the same time, I have the energy to do a lot

The fuller the moon, the more energy I have.
I always get depressed around the time of the new moon. I suppose it's because I don't see the moon.
Seeing her always makes me happy.

More energy approaching full moon, less approaching new moon. I've only been aware long enough to experience two moon cycles so far, but that effect has already become obvious.

But either case the moon is still there just in a shadow @ the new moon.
i really haven't noticed many changes in energy since im always full of it
but the brightness and light might have something to do with that.

I find your observation Howl-of-dawn, to probably be the most correct. The moon is reflecting the electromagnetic energy from the sun. As it gets fuller it gets brighter, which then tells our bodies that the "sun" is up, and naturally we then want to be up, and we have more energy at night than we normally do, however, is just the same energy we have during the day, save we notice it more as we usually are at the end of our energy reserves.
