Michael Jackson, the coolest werewolf, has passed. RIP 1958-2009

I'm so sad right now, and I wa just telling people I was throwing an 80s celebrity dressup party. I'm so saddened.

Michael had a huge influence on me and he changed the world. He united races, made great music, showed people how to act with class, showed peopel to strive for excellence, knowledge, and wisdom. He'll be greatly missed.

Thriller has been showing non stop so if you haven't seen it in a while check it out. He was a werewolf at one point in the 15 minute music video film. He also wore a similar video costume (football jock jacket) for the 2nd leg of the bad tour, (Hopefully they show this rare footage, b/c the amateur cameras from audience don't do this performance justice and he hasn't released it or really allowed many if ANY clips of it to be released. I've only seen a 2 or 3 second clip) and the Werewolf mask for the 2nd leg of bad tour through the History tour. You can watch them on youtube.

Coolest werewolf for me. The coolest.
You'll be greatly missed.

I agree. I can't sleep so, I'm watching the Michael Jackson Marathon. It's on BET and on Mtv Jams if you have that kinda cable. For those that have not seen the greatness that is Michael Jackson watch:

Rarely shown "Another Part of Me" and "Jacksons Billie Jean live" video to get an idea of how cool he was. And if you can find them on youtube these specials

Michael Jackson: The Legend Continues
Michael Jackson Mtv Weekend
Around the World
From Motown to Your Town
Another Part of Me Special

And of course to relate to werewolves watch "Thriller" and "the Making of Thriller"

Re: Michael Jackson, the coolest werewolf, has passed. RIP 1958-2009

I was lucky enough to see Michael at his last big performance in Sept. 2001. We're devastated by this news. Part of the series was inspired b/c of him.  I listened to Michael to calm my nerves going into Adventurecon, for goodness sake. Well I always listen to Michael.

I'm going to go to Time Square and wear my Michael glove. I know Amy said if anyone's in Nashville, one of the concert venues put the marquee up with the dates that the Jackson Five/Jacksons came there (to Nashville) I'll see if she can take a picture for me and if you'd like I'll put it on our myspace. She also said maybe look and see if any concert venues are doing that in your city. I know Apollo Theater's got something up.

Michael Jackson permeated his greatness all over the world. What a small world, b/c Lou Ferrigno, who played the original "Hulk," was at Adventurecon and I just found out he was training Michael Jackson for his upcoming tour. Wow, we could have had a conversation had I known.

Anyway my friend says if you don't realize how great Michael Jackson is go get (probably will have to order b/c everything's sold out Michael related) the Thriller anniversary book

and watch the videos, specifically "Another Part of Me" intro, Jacksons' "Billie Jean" live from Victory tour to see what Michael brought to the table. Then watch "Michael Jackson, The Legend Continues" and "Moonwalker" and "Mtv special" and "Michael Jackson Around the World" which you can probably see on youtube.

Rest in Peace Michael
We love you

R.I.P. man

Wow, this country's sad for how negative they're treating someone that had a heart attack. Why in blazes would they show that cursed Martin Beshir interview

I agree with Puff Daddy and Jamie Foxx to keep it positive and remember how he united so many races, religions, ages, etc. How he donated so much money to righteous causes to help the sick and people in need.

Bet Awards is doing a fantastic job showing the positives of what the legend, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson has done for the world

Re: Michael Jackson, the coolest werewolf, has passed. RIP 1958-2009

Most of the big magazines are doing MJ tribute magazines (sorta like the 80s. Wow the irony in the flashback issues)

I'd say so far the Rolling Stone and the People magazine tributes are the best. No behind the scenes or anything spectacular about Thriller.

Check out the MJ Thriller 25th book for that and Horror Hound (which is a collector's issue now) with MJ with the zombies around him.

I find it sooooo strange how they're showing the commercial that set his hair on fire but how no one mentions it's FREAKIN PEPSI!!!! Obviously they must've said something if they paid him 2 million dollars or whatever. Interesting.

Someone dressed up as Captain Eo at Comic Con. I just got it from my fan e-mail. And the light up glove from the 1984 Victory tour was on display at Comic Con as well. If anyone has pictures they can post them on www.michaeljackson.com or put some youtube footage up.

RIP to Michael, but I'm fairly certain he was a werecat in Thriller, what with the slit pupils and the whiskers.  Either way, I remember being very little and learning the dance for the video.

I once new the dance, but we're talking about 5 or 6 years old.  A kid that age isn't affected by embarassment in public places like us adults are.

Either way on the were-wolf/cat, the scene of Mike telling the girl to "Get Away!!!" scared the hell out of me at that age...

Okay the movie opens tomorrow for some and Wednesday for everyone else. I'm gonna be there, they just showed a snippet of Thriller. Man it looks good!!! It looks so theatrical. I wonder if they'll have a a bunch of werewolves crawling around? They've got loadddss of zombies. I just hope they show final dress rehearsals and all the clothes are there. I'm not feeling the clothes, but I understand.

Re: Michael Jackson, the coolest werewolf, has passed. RIP 1958-2009

Go see it. It's definitely worth it and there's a wolf in Thriller that howls in the "graveyard."

Man what a sad, but brilliant insight to what could have been. Thriller was gonna be in 3d as well. Wowww, you gotta see this movie on IMAX!!!! Not on regular on IMAX!!!! It's a crying shame of the incident, just seeing the 3d effects and the spooky things that would flown in the audience when you had 3d glasses on wow. I'm saddened but GLAD I SAW THIS. Maybe they'll do a cartoon of the show (there was kinda of a clip like that in it. I'd love to see that fully done!!!)

Anyone else see this?

Re: Michael Jackson, the coolest werewolf, has passed. RIP 1958-2009

I MISSED THE FIRST PART!!!!!!! They're not showing it. I'll have to catch it on the reruns. I saw the second episode. (What's up with shows doing 2 episodes in one night now). It was brilliant. I wonder if they'll mention why Michael didn't perform Thriller on the 1984 tour with his brothers.

Okay so I finally saw that they're rereleasing Moonwalk by Michael Jackson (several Thriller pictures in it. It's a great book to buy. The pictures are amazing. I'd say this is the best autobiography I've seen as far as pictures and stuff) Anyway there's a forward and a passage added to the book. It talks about how Jackie Kennedy was on the set of Thriller (I remember seeing tha rare picture with the two of them. I thought he'd just worn that Thriller outfit elsewhere. Cool info)

Re: Michael Jackson, the coolest werewolf, has passed. RIP 1958-2009

okay seriously the specials on tv that are coming up, they're showing the Wolfman movie promo picture everytime they mention Thriller and how Michael was a werewolf and a zombie. What the heck!!!!! Those are like 25 yr differences. How hard is it to find a werewolf picture of Michael Jackson. It's on youtube. I get them promoting the new wolfman movie but that's tacky!!

Also in Horror hound this month they have a radical picture of a changeable zombie/human Thriller Michael Jackson doll (well moreso a moveable figurine. it looks just like Michael so a better version than the 80s doll).

Third note- Jacksons (Jackson 5) reality series is on A & E channel. I think only 1 or 2 episodes left. But they're showing 80s footage of Michael. Perhaps one of the brothers visited Michael on the set of Thriller and they'll show that. Michael nixed performing Thriller in 84 on the Vicotry tour b/c there were crazy religious protesters saying it was the devil and all that stuff. (granted back then people were stronger in their religious beliefs than now) another reason Michael added that warning at the beginning of Thriller

Re: Michael Jackson, the coolest werewolf, has passed. RIP 1958-2009

HAS ANYONE PURCHASED THE MICHAEL JACKSON Opus??? It's a big big big coffee table book (maybe 4 ft tall) with tons of rare pictures. I was just curious to see if they had that beautiful werewolf picture where his skin is a beautiful blue with black and white fur. He's quite scary/beautiful like a bird of prey (well wolf of prey?).( The picture is so dang small. It's in the History booklet and might be in the Thriller 25 edition cd also but it's like an inch big) It's supposed to have like over 400 pictures.

new MJ pic of the werewolf on the Bad tour is in a new tribute magazine out on stands today. I think it's a grey/white cover? They show costumes he would have worn and old costumes.
