Legends by Region

I would like input on various ethnic/regional legends relating to werewolves/werewolf-type creatures, such as listed below.  I'm particularly interested in the "uber-werewolf" types, like Amarok.

The Inuit of Alaska have Amarok.
Cajun culture (south Louisianna) has the Rougarou.
Romanian culture has the Varcolac and the Pricolici.

Anyone know of others?  Thanks in advance.

Found a few more:

Nahual in Mesoamerican folklore.
Black Shuck in Anglo-Saxon lore.

Re: Legends by Region

alot of us in alaska believe in werewolves but not how the media shows them. in most of our legends the people who are still human but get a bunch of hair and fangs n stuff are technically call "lycanitis's", real werewolves are people who completely alter their form to become true wolves "lycanthropes"
