Eh, eh. It's officially still "in preproduction" so no date of release has been shown yet. Then, "quiet and calm", please .

Well, then it could be interesting to get a link to that news, in order to know about it, because in the semi-oficial forum no one said anything about a definitive release date.

I have actually never heard of this movie until right now. Haha. (There's a lot of werewolf movies I haven't seen, haha.)
But I just looked up the trailer, and it seems promising. I'll see it.

The teaser trailer was made years ago to try and market the concept to investors. Unfortunately, it confused a lot of fans by suggesting that the movie is in production, which is NOT the case. Freeborn is in a stage of cast scouting at best... it doesn't actually have a firm budget, and it has not entered pre-production. We don't know when--if ever--we'll see this movie.

For those of you who don't know what Freeborn is, it is a werewolf movie by indie actor/director Anthony Brownrigg. It started out as a simple horror flick called "Devoured," but then Anthony started getting feedback from the fan community compelling enough to warrant a re-write of the script. Fan input has been very strong throughout the script's development, i.e. what a werewolf should be, and what people want to see nowadays in a werewolf movie. Thus www.thepacksden.com was created, which originally started as a discussion forum for the movie (but has since become its own werewolf site.)

Physically, the general consensus resulted in a werewolf design that is more wolf-like, digitigrade, with a tail, that most werewolf fans on the internet would probably be familiar with. Personality-wise, the Freeborn werewolves maintain their human intelligence while transformed, and are only as evil or as good as their human counterparts.

Freeborn is now Re-born!  (Trust me)
