It seems unfair that only time you get to play as a werewolf is in MMORPG's, like "World of Warcraft" and "Champions Online", instead of console games. And, its quite obvious that the gaming industry can be creative and innovative with werewolf games but it seems that they only reserve that creativity and innovativation for werewolves in MMORPGS.

There is a game called Project Altered Beast where you can play as a werewolf.

Also Bloody Roar and Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness to name a couple more. Not alot of werewolf protagonists in gaming but they're there. Otherwise werewolves have been used more often as game enemy types: Ninja Gaiden 2 and Legandary. Obviously not alot of love towards werewolves in that regard.

Game developers should think about werewolf fans and start making more games that you can actually play as a werewolf.

maybe we could send suggestions to a couple of the major gaming companies(Sony, Capcom, etc.)

Yes, I totally agree. How about a dark, gritty werewolf game set in the Victorian era in a small village where you play as the werewolf? By day you sit in the taverns and listen to what people have to say about the murders, and by night you turn into a werewolf and hunt your prey. Eventually, another werewolf shows up and you have to fight him. They game should have the graphics of Batman: Arkham Asylum (the Unreal 3 Engine) and have a combat
system that feels like Batman's.

Agreed. But, I'm used to playing "pen and paper" games, D&D, most notably, so I'm usually a werewolf in that (also having a figurine helps me with the aesthetic appeal). But I've only came across Diablo II (Druid) that you can pretty much play as a werewolf.
Not many games are geared towards them, and this is me just spit-balling, bc they don't believe the game(s) won't bring in as many fans or revenue. BUT! Then again, I'm not a game developer.

There sure is quite a clamor for the game industry to bring out some more things that would indulge werewolves to be included to games though I am not quite sure what to fully make of it. And looking and judging from things and how they are panning out, there aren't much options for them to take, which in my opinion would also lead to how things are not going to look very sharp in their own implementation.
