Re: Twilight Saga's "Eclipse" 3rd film

I read them all, so no one can tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I was even a fan until I started reading real books again.

Re: Twilight Saga's "Eclipse" 3rd film

I read the first two books and managed to slog my way through to the second to last chapter of the third before I lost all hope started biting the novel in some vain attempt at vengeance.

I did read the birthing scene in Breaking Dawn though. Shades of alien, methinks....

wow I'm young but even I know you've been brainwashed by the man! At the end of the day no one can say this is a bad series b/c it's DIFFERENT. I do admit some editing could have been done better, but to me it just drew out more stuff. IT reminded me of some director's cut films vs. theatrical releases.
The great thing about the books vs. the film is that if you like the film, there are "Easter Eggs" essentially in the books. (added scenes)

Now that I think about it, what werewolf books have made people start reading again or at least attempt to read? I know I know, TWILIGHT!!

As opposed to all those fakes just pretending to be books. roll

In all fairness, "eclipse" did make a bit more sense than "new moon" did which gets oddly amusing but completly pointless in its second half.

Did anyone see that Percy... Lightning Thief? They said the trailer for Eclipse was on it, but it was just a rumor.

Re: Twilight Saga's "Eclipse" 3rd film

That the fourth would get the movie treatment too was pretty much a given, we will have to see how much of the alien birth scene will make in the movie though, but what really scared me is the rumour that it will, like HP, be done in two parts.
Well, gotta milk the merchandise for all its worth...

You're kidding right? I've seen Twilight EVERYTHING - from towels, tshirts, mugs, pendants, notebooks, stationary, bedsheets, posters, badges, down to real vampire sparkle (aka body glitter), school bags, fake tattoos, I mean really. It's one of the most ultra-merchandised franchises in years, and do you know why? Because teenage girls just lap this rubbish up.

And don't try and 'convert' me by extolling it's supposed virtues, WWI, or accuse me of being choondooga. I'm sick of watching you bleat about how Twilight is fantastic and anybody who thinks otherwise is wrong. Not trying to be abusive; just a disclaimer.

Go to Target. They've got a ton of Twilight junk.
And, of course, Hot Topic.
