Just looked it up. the line through the price of the stamp means it's apparently a philatelic, or collector's stamp. It's not actually valid postage (which is a shame really). Then again, it's a 39¢ stamp, so you'd need more than that to send a letter these days. (My mom works at Canada Post, so I know these things. tongue)
