Beauty

A beauty in the misty night,
She flies free with no chains,
She goes up and gathers height,
She bears no earthly pains,
The clouds seem to split apart for her,
A walkway to heaven,
They said never,
She’s too much a maiden,
Too young and innocent,
To have dreams of her own,
But here she is,
Flying free as the dew settles on her wings,
Flying high,
Flying free,
A beauty in the mist.
