Beginning a new werewolf novel - What do you want to see?

The title is self-explanatory; I'm getting ready to begin writing a new werewolf novel, and I was wondering what you, the biggest werewolf fans wanted to see in the story. Such as the setting, the plot, what the protagonist is like, and of course the werewolves themselves - do you prefer the traditional Wolfman, the anthropomorphic wolves such as in Underworld or something else entirely?

I already have a few plots, characters and so on in mind, but I really wanted to see what other werewolf fans wanted, and what you guys were tired of seeing. I plan to post up the first chapter in the stories forum to see what you guys think.

I definitely want lots of character development and believable characters with obvious and well developed characteristics. They needn't be black or white, but they definitely have to be believable. And no Mary Sues or Gary Stus.
