Re: Author Kelley Armstrong

Sorry I'm so slow answering!  I've been doing "National Novel Writing Month" for November, and things got a little crazy...that's what happens when I attempt to do 50,000 words in a month (insanity, I tell ya)

ive got another question, how come no one in the pack actually uses a weapon for combative purposes?  some sort of code?  forgive me if this was explained in one of the other books, my mind has to take in so much with the military i tend to get clouded with my rec activities

My werewolves don't fight with weapons because they consider it a sign of weakness i.e. a "real" werewolf would be a good enough fighter that he/she wouldn't need a weapon.  It's an old fashioned idea that sometimes gets them into trouble when others don't play by their rules!

Here's a quote on it from Bitten
"A werewolf with a handgun?" Marsten said.  "This is a sorry day.  Brilliant idea, Daniel.  Turn a bunch of human killers into werewolves.  Now why didn't I think of that?  Maybe because . . . . it's stupid.  You're never going to wean him off his weapons, Danny-boy."

Re: Author Kelley Armstrong

Kelley, very cool answer to that question.

If you ever find time to post anything in regard to your next book coming out on April 25th, 2006 titled "Broken," please do, as I know there are a lot of people here interested in that book.

Re: Author Kelley Armstrong

hmm i guess I'm bringing this topic back to the top, just a reminder it's less than a month until her release of Broken, but I got a copy of it in the mail today, with her autograph, now if that isnt a great thing to happen in the midst of the hell I've been through I don't know what is.

And If kelley happens to read this, thanks a bunch, hard to put into words right now, I'm heavily drugged because of the accident.

One of these days I'm going to solicit my work for publishing, it's just that my work is pure and a publishing company needs to be reasonable with content editing...
