The Beast Is Warned

The beast has murdered
and i can't control it
But still i wondered
what if i'd quit

Then it would consume me
as it had all the others
Because nothing i can plee
would change my brother's

Plans of destruction
or thaughts of chaos
And i have no recolection
of the time before loss

But i have a belief
that there must be a cure
either the wolfsbane leaf
or the blood of the pure

And i wont let go
until i discover
That my story of woe
wont last forever

This is my third werewolf poem and like the second one it can stand on its own but i like to think of it as the sequel to "The Beast Lives On"

i will make some more werewolf poems and combine them so they will tell a story
the next poem will be about accepting that there isn't a cure and trying to live with himself

all three of my werewolf poems are the same rhyme scheme and number of stanzas
i like this pattern and it also connects the works better
what do you think of the poem and do you like the rhyme scheme?

"One day your life will flash before your eyes, make sure it’s worth watching."
"Everything in the right dose is poison, Aconitum, Laceflower, Monkshood, Love..."
