My mind is off in another dimension,
Releasing myself of the heat of the tension.
Senior year; what one of the best?
Completely the same as all of the rest.
Drama at school or trouble with Ma,
Is nothing like a run with the law.
No music or phone, just a paper and date,
I don’t understand, why this is my fate.
My life is no further; I have no more lies,
College won’t be seen, deep in my eyes.
What mistakes I have made, and truth to be told,
I’m scared of my future, my soul, I have sold.

You know...normally I hate poems like this. But the way you wrote it...is oddly beautiful. I'm not a teenage girl, but I imagine this must be what goes through the hearts and minds of others like yourself as they look back on mistakes made. =] All in all...I can relate.
