Re: Being Human - American

Thanks. By the way, last July I met Russell Tovey from BBC's original version at Comic Con in San Diego, so I've had the honor of meeting the werewolves from both versions of Being Human in one calendar year.  Pretty darn cool. smile

Lol I agree. I hope they remake their werewolf though. The current one is rather....unflattering.

You're right man, at least in the TF scenes CGI sucked big time. But I must recognize that in some action scenes it worked (the werewolf fight), even though there is something "missing" there.

Re: Being Human - American

Yeah, they seemed too scrawny and/or too fake looking.

Re: Being Human - American

I've never bought his TF scenes either. The teeth always look super fake and he's just not selling it.
Not like Russell Tovey smile
...and yes, I'm aware the man screamed like a banshee. But that sold it for me!

Re: Being Human - American

Lol his ability to "sell it" could use work and they definitely need to do better with their CGI on everything.

I'm surprised no one posted about the premier yet.  To anyone who seen it, who will bet money that Nora kicks it next episode?

Me. They will show just "fangs & claws". Full non-interrupted non-obscured non-offscreen scenes are just reserved for male werewolves. Welcome to american productions xD.

I think one of the preview shots of a wolf tackling the guy was Nora becoming a martyr.

I've watched the first season on netflix of the UK version after watching the first episode of the first season of the US version and prefer the UK version so far. One major thing is the transformations - the UK version is beautifully done and you see all of it.

Re: Being Human - American

Nora's not going to die. You see a shot of her sitting down talking *to* the ghost in the next episode (unlike the talking generally *at* her on the counter in the pilot).

Agree with Marwolf re the transformations in the UK versions. Much better than the US. Russell sells it more too for some reason.

And the teeth are goofy in the US version - as they're transforming. They look.. fake?

I don't the werewolf form though - it's interesting. I just prefer the brit bipedal werewolf. smile Less mangy too.

I suppose it's wishful thinking that "pure breed" werewolves might not look like mangy proto-canines?
