That's always the first question people who aren't from England ask when you tell them where you live: 'Cheshire? Is that near London?' If you're English yourself you should be ashamed!
Durham's in the North-East, near Newcastle.

All I care about is is it near a WHITE-CASTLE? After watching Harold and Kumar go there, I wanna do it too!

In the nicest possible way, England is a tiny country. The only people who usually ask me 'is that near London' are from the US. Because that's the only British town they've heard of.

Is that near Essex? What about Liverpool? Dover? York? Hampshire? What part of the UK? Is it in England, Scotland, Whales, or Ireland?
Did you know that Random lives near a large city, but doesn't know it 'cause he lives so far away? I keep telling him it's all relative, 'cause I've never even spent a night in Miami or Tampa, but he just doesn't understand! >!<

I did originally say England. Funnily enough I'm originally from Essex, I'm just studying up here. It's actually near Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Good job on the display of knowledge. I hope you didn't just google those.

CRASS is from Essex; Liverpool is famous for various things, including an accent; New York, New Hamphire, and Dover are named after parts of the UK. Not to hard to name a few cities in most countries if you just pay attention to the information which comes your way.

Yeah, I notice place names you stole from us every time I visit, including Coventry, Manchester, Birmingham, Lancaster, Newcastle, Durham, Norfolk... the list goes on. Essex is in New Jersey, if I remember rightly. I saw the sign one time and did a double-take.
Sorry for the off topicness by the way mods.

Nah, we're far too cool to be seen down in Luton. Northern therians are just so much better.
Although there are plenty of therians in the UK; a lot in and around London too. When I last lurked around on The Werelist there was a fairly active UK Therians topic, and from that I met a therian from Sheffield

does the uk have howls

I couldn't answer that. I'm sure they will, I think I recall a UK Therian/Howl topic a while ago, and WVZ did mention a Howl that was organised in the UK (Scotland I think it was), although whether that still happens or not I wouldn't know.
If you are interested knowing more about a Howl, then I'd recommend checking out Therian websites/forums and starting from those.
