Grimm

A new supernatural cop show will start showing on NBC fall. Two of the clips just released show the main character tangling with what appear to be werewolves (or shapeshifting somethings, they look a bit like orcs): http://io9.com/5802041/watch-the-first- … -and-awake

Re: Grimm

Hmmm....looks interesting....and I read my daughter those stories when she was younger....believe it or not she preferred them to the Disney fairy tails.....I mean don't get me wrong...she loves Disney movies just as much as I do....but to read...she loved Grimm more.

Teh internets is your friend.

And I can't believe you've never heard of an orc... you must immediately buy/rent the Lord of the Rings movies and watch them. There's no time to waste.

Re: Grimm

Here's a longer preview which seems to pretty much recap the first episode. Included is a quick werewolf-to-human tf near the end: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kh3rFsv_WSE

Re: Grimm

I'm confused. Is it all werewolves or are there gonna be other fairy tale villians?

Re: Grimm

So tonight's episode is called 'Bad Moon Rising', and so far, the werewolves have been pretty awesome, considering they're mostly CGI shifts. On Direct TV it's channel 6.

Re: Grimm

Okay, so they weren't werewolves, more like werecoyotes big_smile But, they looked cooler than Monroe does when he shifts wink

Re: Grimm

Nice to see they brought in the actor who played a vampire leader on "Being Human" to play a Coyotl. The guy who played "Bishop".

Re: Grimm

I found "Bad Moon Rising" to be very satisfying (and very werewolfy, they can call them "coyotl"s if they want).  I'm glad Detective Griffin is being let in on the secret -- and that his god-daughter and best (non-cop) friend are werewo -- I mean, coyotls (and neat looking ones, too).

Re: Grimm

I need to take the time to sit down and watch this show. It does rock. The season premiere has started already, yes?

Re: Grimm

They started the new season early (premiering it after the Olympics ended on NBC) But now they're taking some time off. They'll return with new episodes on Sept. 21.

Re: Grimm

I stand corrected. Had heard before that it was gonna be the 21st, but the official site does say it returns on the 28th.

Re: Grimm

This is fricking awesome. I gobbled up the first season and now I'm onto the second.

Personally I find the female blutbaden a tad unsatisfying, but that's just me. I think they had to keep the blutbaden's shifts fairly straightforward as Monroe usually shifts at least once an episode and it must be expensive to animate.
