Basically, Mercader, don't make that kind of claim unless you have solid evidence to back it up.

That's not good enough proof. As far as I'm concerned, until I see a picture or video of someone p-shifting, it can't happen.

So your saying there is no such thing as someone becoming a wolf if they are a werewolf. Isnt that what a werewolf is?

Basically, yes. That sort of werewolf is fictional, and until I see proper proof otherwise, I'm sticking to that. I can pretty much guarantee that what you experienced was not a physical shift, because the closest thing to that I know of is a type of mental/phantom shift that is so strong that maybe it feels like you're physically shifting, but you're not.

The closest thing I know of to a "real" werewolf is a therian. And therians don't physically shift.

You're showing quite clearly that you don't know how DNA works. It guides the production of proteins - not structures. Only indirectly and very gradually does it control the production of body structures.

Historically (and I'm talking about first and second hand reports of Werewolves in history - not legend or myth) Werewolves and Berserkers have never physically shifted.  Butterflies take time to change from caterpillars. The analogical process in a Werewolf would be a human changing over a period of weeks or months (or more likely, years) into a wolf.

DNA changes happen from one generation to the next. Changes in expression  may happen in the same person, but that's not changes from one specie to another. That's changes in hair texture or eye color or skin pigmentation, etc.

Change from one specie to another isn't physically possible so the only principle available to do it would be magic and there's no evidence that any Werewolf in history has ever changed physically into another specie.

Although usually not physical, shapeshifting is mind over matter, like the berserkers in Norse history. Your body may look the same, but your mind, senses, and energy are animal.

Now, there are Werewolf sites and the members of those don't claim to physically change either. Werewolves aren't fantasizers - which is why they don't just say "that they are pretending to be a werewolf or whatever else their imagination want" nor do they claim to physically change. As I said before, Werewolves have never claimed to physically change. There were some really sick people during the Renaissance and later who did claim that but they were having delusions that they were Werewolves. Werewolves are different from the mainstream population, but part of that difference is not the ability to turn into something else.
