Never shifted before. I'd have to have a pretty good reason to.
I am short, thick and I love my alone time.
Question though, is it typical for a person's human appearance to resemble the animal within? You know like are weretigers built like an NFL runing back and do werebirds have skinny legs? just curious

No, not really. Its all in mind//soul. Potential physical resemblance is just a coincidence.
So, are you a Badger therian or just curious ?

Well, I just know I'm different. I identify with Badgers and feel if i were to shift that would be the form I take. I am fairly new to the entire concept though. I realize that I seem pretty noobish.

There is not such things as noobs. Anyone have to start somewhere. Its up to you if you want to put a first step on path to self discovery.
Also there is so many viewpoints on that subject that you need to learn constantly to stay up to date ^^
Even if u are not a therian/otherkin you can learn a bit from one of many communities or read one of the FAQ about that

Actually, most of the Werebears I know actually look "bearish". Other theriotypes are not that obvious but I have noticed some trends. Werewolves tend to put on weight pretty quickly if they're not careful. Werefoxes tend to be wirey. etc.
