Adrien Morot (who was nominated for special effects make-up at the Oscars last year) was looking forward to doing the special effects make-up. He said it was one of the best werewolf scripts he had ever read.

The producers were trying to take advantage of the writers, though, so they took their script back. The script is being shopped around to American producers now. We'll see what they're going to do with it...

There seems to be a lot of emphasis on the writing itself. Why not put it into a published book form at some point?

We're working on the novel while the film is in preproduction... (thanks for the suggestion, marwolf)
