There is this event that some of us attend called Court of Lazarus.  It's not for role-players, it's for people who are serious about the Nightkind/Otherkin scene.  It's once a month, for 21+ cuz it's in a bar.  It's located in Madame X Bar (94 West Houston St. NYC)  Let me know if you're interested in meeting some local wolves.  I think a lot of them are going to be there in December, including the top 4 officers of Everwood Pack.
